LaPlant finished 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI. Stone was 3-for-4 with two singles, a double, two runs scored and three RBI. Mackey struck out four and walked one. Wayne’s Emma Grasso struck out 12 over seven innings of work. Olivia Huber was 2-for-4 with two doubles for the Eagles. McKenzie Thomas had a single and a double.

AJ Brotz produced six runs, and sophomore Zach Musso hurled five innings of 2-hit ball as Bath-Haverling advanced to face second-seeded Wellsville. AJ Brotz opened the game with a triple over the left fielder’s head. Musso quickly drove him in, and Brendan Strong hit one of his three doubles on the night to knock in Musso. The Rams pushed across another run after a Colin Coots walk and another AJ Brotz hit in the second. The Rams sent 15 batters to the plate and scored 11 runs in the fourth to put the game out of reach. The Rams have scored 39 runs on 38 hits in their last two games. Cayden Mattison then threw an 11-pitch inning of relief in the sixth only facing three batters, and senior Nathan Musso came in to pitch the seventh. Brotz and Strong both finished 4-for-4. Cayden Mattison went 3-for-5 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored. Gavin Buckley had three hits, three runs scored and two RBI. Ethan Brotz drove in four runs with two RBI.
