The Spartans jumped out to an early 2-0 lead behind an RBI double from Devin Georgetti and an RBI single from Charlie Healey and never looked back. Gates-Chili added two runs in the fourth on a two-run double from Vincent Lucyszyn. The Spartans extended their lead to 6-2 in the fifth inning on a RBI double from Mike Ribis and a sacrifice fly from Devon Payton. Sonny Mangini earned the win for the Spartans as the senior hurled five innings and allowed just two runs. Mangini struck out four and gave up eight hits. Ryan Kilner closed the final two innings allowing just one hit and striking out two. Georgetti finished the game 3-of-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Lucyszyn went 2-of-3 with two RBI, a run scored and a walk. Ribis, James Paxon, Maguire Gentz, and Mike Daly all tallied one hit. For Spencerport, Shaun Cannon led the team going 4-of-4 and scoring both Ranger runs. Frank Grad, Devin Cannon, Christopher Hammerle, Joseph Marcello, and Andrew Simoncelli all had a base-knock.

LEADERSHIP (0-3) 4
Kyle Markham led the East Eagles with a team-high three RBI. Markham went 3-of-4 including two runs scored and two stolen bases. Victor Arroyo, Frank Duarte, and Tomas Hernandez all recorded two RBI. Arroyo finished the game 3-of-3 including a double and a triple, Arroyo also walked once and scored three times. Duarte ended the game 2-of-4 with a walk and three runs scored. Hernandez had an RBI triple in the first inning and an RBI groundout in the fifth inning. Emille Diaz added an RBI to go along with his 2-of-3 day. Junior Luis Rivera added two hits in three at-bats including an RBI double and two runs scored. Pedro Garcia and Michael Conrow both recorded one hit in the game. Will Carter led Leadership with a team-high two hits and one RBI. Victor Mercado and Carlos DeJesus both drove in a run.

Tied 5-5 in the seventh, Nextah Vega came through with a two-run single with two outs to give Franklin the lead. Jalen Breedy and Jadiel DeJesus scored on the single; Breedy and DeJesus started the inning with singles of their own. Breedy finished the game 3-of-4 with two runs scored, and Justus Robinson went 2-of-3 and scored two runs. Angel Morales received credit for the win after Morales pitched two scoreless innings.

WAYNE (4-1) 5
Wayne pulled away with a three-run fifth inning highlighted by a two-run single from Ronnie Cassano. Tied at two, Tyler Brown broke the tie with a sacrifice fly that scored Brady Ruffell. Nathan Coleman pitched a complete game for the Eagles as Coleman gave up two runs, one earned. The junior struck out seven while giving up four hits. Cassano scored in the second on an error, and Michael Prentice scored in the third on a Josh Armstrong single. Cassano finished 2-of-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Alex Tomaselli went 2-of-3, Armstrong ended 3-of-4 with an RBI and a run scored, and Ruffell recorded two hits and scored once. Waterloo scored in the third as Nehemiah Williams stole home, and scored again in the fourth on a Devin Mulvey-Salerno sacrifice fly.

Trailing 3-0 heading into the bottom of the first, Livonia plated four and proceeded to score nine over the next three innings to pick up its fifth win of the season. Robbie Stewart led the Bulldogs going 3-of-3 with two RBI and four runs scored. Troy Galbriath went 2-of-3 with three RBI. Sophomore Conner Benitez pitched a complete game and allowed seven hits while striking out six.

Ian Goodness delivered the game-winning RBI as Palmyra-Macedon won the battle of unbeatens. Goodness plated Alex Wootton, who went 1-of-3 with a double. Goodness ended 1-of-3, and hurled four and one-third shutout innings. Goodness struck out nine while walking one and allowed just one hit. Paul Goodness came in relief and pitched two and two-third no-hit innings. P. Goodness struck out three and walked one. Noah Brooks and Christian Morrison both recorded a hit, and John Morrisey went 1-of-2 with a double. For Newark, Gabriel Caraballo had the only hit. Josh Scotti pitched a complete game allowing one earned run on five hits. Scotti struck out six.

Mynderse picked up its first win of the season behind a two RBI game from Will Korzeniewski. Mynderse struck first with a two-run second inning with a Korzeniewski double that plated Jared Hartwell and D. J. Bruni. Mynderse added two more in the third on an error and an RBI single from Jacob Smith. Leading 4-3 going into the bottom of the sixth, Mynderse extended its lead behind a one-run single from Erick Guevara-Cordero and a passed ball. Smith had a team high two hits in three at-bats. Bruni recorded one hit and scored twice, and Hartwell scored twice alongside a 1-of-3 day. Jared King started for Mynderse and struck out 15 in five and two-thirds. King allowed three runs on three hits and two walks. Bruni closed the final one and one-thirds innings allowing one hit and striking out one. Mike DeHond recorded the only RBI in the game For Midlakes. Andrew Schoenfelder, Ryan Spooner, Eian Add-on, and Mark Scoville all had a hit for the Sreaming Eagles.

AJ Brotz paced the Haverling offense as the Rams won their second-straight game with the 10-run rule. Brotz went 3-of-4 including two doubles and a home run which resulted in five RBI. Zach Musso went 3-of-5 while scoring three runs and driving in two. Musso got the Rams started in the first with a two-run double. Collin Coots chipped in two RBI as the junior went 3-of-4 and scored two runs. Brendan Strong earned the win on the mound as Strong allowed one hit over four innings and struck out four. Cayden Mattison had two doubles with an RBI, Nate Musso went 2-of-4, Strong had three hits and two RBI, and Hunter Pickering collected one hit and drove in one run. For Dansville, Ryan Carnavale, Reid Martin, Shane Crandall, and Nathan Lafaye all had one hit and one RBI.

Jake Wiepert’s four RBI paced the Aquinas offense as it picked up its seventh straight win to begin the season. The sophomore drove one in during a four-run first inning, and had a two-run single in the second inning. Wiepert ended the game 2-of-3 with a walk. Tre’ Walker went 2-of-2 with three RBI and two hit by pitches. Max Calleri hurled a complete game for the Li’L Irish. Calleri struck out 10 and allowed just one hit. Both runs scored against the junior were unearned. Calleri drew three walks at the plate while recording two RBI and one run scored. Robert McCullough collected one hit with two RBI and one run scored. Will Scanlon went 1-of-2 and drew two walks; Scanlon came around to score three times. Joe Randise added two RBI alongside his 2-of-3 night. Geo Rosa swatted the only hit for Bishop Kearney/Rochester Prep/Bosco.

Shane Pickering, Luke Ciprich and Andrew Gleason paced the Gananda offense with four RBI a piece. Pickering went 4-of-5 with three runs scored, Ciprich went 3-of-5 with three runs scored, and Gleason finished 3-of-5 with two doubles, a triple, and two runs scored. Sam O’Neil added three RBI as the senior went 1-of-1 with two walks and two runs scored. AJ Fioravanti chipped in three hits alongside two RBI, and Patrick Walsh scored four runs and drove in one. Gleason pitched the full five innings allowing three hits and striking out 13 while walking one. Steve Dunn, Max Waldron, and Dakota Miller collected the three hits for Clyde-Savannah.

GENESEO (1-4) 3
Junior Eric Offhaus’ two-run single in the sixth inning proved to be the difference as Pavilion collected its third win of the season. With one run already scored in the sixth inning and leading 2-0, Offhaus plated Riley Robinson and Trevor Wiedrich to extend the lead to 4-0. Robinson drove in one more in the seventh on a single as Pavilion added an insurance run following a three-run sixth inning by Geneseo. The Golden Gophers received a big contribution from the Tillotson brothers. Ethan went 3-of-4 with one RBI, and Cole went 2-of-3 with three runs scored. Wiedrich started on the hill for Pavilion as the senior pitched three and one-third shutout innings. Wiedrich struck out two and allowed two hits. Joey Debell and Nick Lamb both had an RBI for the Blue Devils. Sean McCaughey finished 1-of-3 with a run scored. Zach Bzduch hurled a complete game for Geneseo and allowed just one earned run. Bzduch struck out five and gave up eight hits.

Warsaw gets back to .500 behind a three RBI game from Ty Joy. Joy went 2-of-4 and added a stolen base. The freshman earned the win on the mound as Joy threw five innings, struck out 10, gave up two hits and three runs. Lucas Cornell tallied two hits to go along with two RBI and one run scored. Patrick Klump scored three runs and drove in one, Eddie Stores drew three walks, stole two bases, scored three runs and had an RBI. Hunter Veazy went 1-of-3 and scored a run for Perry. Justice Fanaro started the game and allowed four earned runs. Fanaro struck out three and gave up seven hits.

Senior Caleb Clements led the Avoca/Prattsburgh charge with a game-high nine RBI. Clements finished the game 4-of-4 with two singles, a double, and a grand slam in the third inning. Sawyer Devoe added two RBI to go along with his 3-of-5 game, Ashton McMahon went 2-of-3 with two RBI, Evan Campbell ended the game 2-of-3 with an RBI, Henry Devoe went 1-of-3 with two RBI, and Tucker Gerych went 1-of-1. Clements, Gerych, and Macoy Putnam combined to strike out 12 Dundee/Bradford hitters while allowing two hits.

Aurora Sabins pitched and delivered three hits which led Keshequa to its fifth win. Sabins went 3-of-3 with the RBI at the dish, and earned the win on the mound allowing three hits and striking out three over four innings. Libby Benner went 2-of-3 with two runs scored, and Julia Wilkins hit a two-run home run in the first inning. For Caledonia-Mumford, Montgomery Kessler led the team going 2-of-3 with two RBI. Taylor Mills went 2-of-3 with two runs scored.
