Chris Sleeper accounted for nine runs to pace the Rush-Henrietta offense. Sleeper went 4-of-4 with five RBI and four runs scored including a three-run home run in the second inning. The Royal Comets collected 24 hits as a team, Tobey Wright had three, Dillon Kelly swatted two and Evan Brock had two hits. Dylan Hodgeman added three, while Deamus Devlin had three hits and four RBI. Cameron Richards went 3-of-5 with five RBI. Alex Garcia ended with two hits, and Joe Grzeskowiak had one with twi two RBI and two runs scored. Caleb Koehler pitched struck out seven over six full innings of work. Koehler allowed three earned runs including one home run. For Greece Olmpyia/Odyssey, Nolan Krautwurst drove in all three runs with a home run in the third inning.

Zachary Miner struck out eight and allowed two hits over 4.1 innings to lead Churchville-Chili to its second win of the season. The junior also helped himself at the plate with two RBI. Anthony Shortino registered the save with 2.2 innings of work while pacing the Saints offense going 2-of-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Shane Pray collected two hits and scored two runs. Leading 2-0 after four, the Saints added four runs in the fifth inning behind a two-run single from Shortino and an RBI single from Cooper Romich. Justin Meister scored two runs alongside one hit. The Saints drew five walks over the course of the game. For Brockport, Ryan Judd led the team going 2-of-3 with one RBI. Devyn Scheidt drove in the other Blue Devil run with a sacrifice fly to center field. Both Blue Devil runs were scored in the seventh.

Brighton outlasted and outscored Gate-Chili to pick up its first win of the season. Ellis Einbinder led the Bruins as he went 4-of-4 while scoring four times and hitting a home run. Teddy Knapp went 3-of-4 and scored three times, and Ben Rosenbaum ended 2-of-2 with a double and scoring twice. Devin Georgetti led Gates Chili with a home run. Georgetti went 2-of-4 and scored two runs. Vincent Lucyszyn finished 2-of-4 and scored three times

Senior Frank Duarte came off the bench and was inserted for Israel Sullivan. Duarte came through going 3-of-4 and having a team-high five RBI and a team-high three runs scored. Sullivan drove in two with a double in the first inning in his only at-bat. Luis Rivera went 3-of-3 with two singles and a double including three RBI. Junior Victor Arroyo had a team-high four runs scored, Arroyo went 2-of-4 with two RBI. Tomas Hernandez added two hits and three RBI. East got out to a hot start with six runs scored in the first inning as 10 batters came to the plate. The Eagles added another six runs in the third, and officially put the game away as they scored 12 runs in the fourth inning. For Bishop Kearney/Rochester Prep/Bosco, Talan Ilardo led the team with a team-high two hits in three at-bats. Talan scored two runs, and was the only player with more than one hit. Edy Merlin led the team in RBI with two.

Aquinas scored five runs in the first-inning highlighted by a two-run single from Robert McCullough. The inning began with Channing Owens single and a CJ Mangone walk. Shane Weasner loaded the bases before McCullough came up when he was hit by a pitch. Patrick Altpeter drove in a run with a single, and the Li’L Irish ended the inning scoring on an error and a hit by pitch. Aquinas added two in the second inning on a fielder’s choice and a Will Scanlon RBI double. Owens started for the Li’L Irish, Owens pitched three innings allowing just two hits and striking out eight. Jake Weispert pitched the final inning and struck out two. Owens ended the game 2-of-3, Weasner went 2-of-2 with three runs scored, McCullough totaled three RBI and a run scored, Lucas Leone collected one hit with two RBI and two runs scored. Tre’ Walker swatted two hits and drove in one.

Livonia wins the battle of unbeaten behind a Alex Benitez two-run single in the sixth inning. The Bulldogs plated five runs in the sixth inning as Jack Donnelly drove in another with a single. Alex Minnehan came in relief in the third inning and allowed two hits while striking out six in his work.

Palmyra-Macedon remains unbeaten behind Alex Wootton’s 2-of-3 day. Wootton had a double and a triple while driving in one run and scoring twice. Paul Goodness and Chris Finocchario both had a double, one RBI, and one run. Ian Goodness collected one hit and on RBI. Finocchario earned the victory on the mound in four innings of work. The junior struck out eight and allowed one hit. Goodness closed the game out hurling the final three innings while allowing two hits and striking out three.

Wayne scored six runs in the fourth inning to pull away from Midlakes. Tyler Brown and Ronald Cassano got on with a walk and an error. Brown and Cassono both scored on an error. Joshua Armstrong drove in a run on a single, and Brown capped off the big inning with an RBI single. Armstrong led Wayne with two hits, one RBI, and one run scored. Brady Ruffell went 1-of-1 with three walks, Ruffell drove in one run and score twice. Noah Schoenberger hurled four shutout innings. Schoenberger allowed just one hit, and struck out eight while walking two. Nathan Coleman finished the final two innings striking out two; Coleman allowed one run but none earned. John DeBoover drove in the lone run for Midlakes on a single in the sixth inning.

John Panepento earned his first varsity win on the mound as Le Roy picked up its first win of the season in its home opener. Panepento went 3-of-3 at the plate while scoring twice and driving in one run. Robbie Newmark had two hits and scored twice, Alex Panepento and Ty Strollo each drove in two runs. Dansville’s Ryan Carnavale finished 1-of-2 with two runs scored and an RBI. Ben Sick went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Eddie Stores plated four and went 2-of-2 to pace Warsaw to its first win of the season. Lucas Cornell hurled six innings and struck out five. Cornell allowed three hits and one earned run while picking up the win. Patrick Klump went 3-of-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Justin Baker drove in one with his lone hit, and Connor Purdy finished 2-of-4 with two runs scored. Nate Thompson led Letchworth with a solo home run; Thompson scored both runs for Letchworth. Archie Shearing drove in one run with his one hit.

York picked up its third win of the season behind a complete game from Clay Harris. The senior struck out 11 and allowed just two hits in his seven innings of work. Harris got it done at the plate going 1-of-2 with two walks, one RBI, and one run scored. David Couzzo went 1-of-3 with two runs scored, and sophomore Maddox Timothy went 2-of-4 with one RBI.

Ryan Fitzpatrick hurled a complete game no-hitter for Notre Dame Batavia’s third win of the season. The freshman struck out 11 through five innings and walked three. Notre Dame Batavia jumped out to an 8-0 lead through two innings behind a seven-run second inning. The fighting Irish scored behind four singles, a walk, two errors, and a dropped third strike. Anthony Zambito plated the first two runs of the inning with a single that scored Groff and Chimeliez. Zambito came around to score on a Collin McCulley single. Chimeliez plated the final run of the inning with his second single of the inning. The fighting Irish tacked on two more in the third behind a sacrifice fly and a Vinnie Di Risio single. Di Risio finished the game 2-of-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Chimeliez went 2-of-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.

Keshequa remains unbeaten behind a five-run sixth inning. Nathan Thayer got the inning started with a walk, and Ryan Thayer cashed him in with an RBI single. With the bases-loaded, Aidan Wood drove in two with a double. The inning ended with two bases-loaded walks drew by Trey Learn and Nathan Thayer to score the final two runs. Learn ended the game with two RBI and a run scored on one base hit. Nathan Thayer drove in two while scoring once and drawing two walks. Riley Rease and Wood combined to pitch the full game for Keshequa. Rease pitched the first four innings allowing just two hits and two earned runs. Wood hurled the final three innings while striking out six and one allowing one earned run. Nick Staley paced the Geneseo offense going 2-of-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Joey Debell swatted in a run with his lone hit in the game.

Goose Gammell reached on a base on balls and eventually scored on a walk-off error to lead Wayland-Cohocton. Gammell started and threw six-plus innings. Avon grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the second when Cole Werner singled and came home on a Thomas Welch sacrifice fly. Wayland countered with four in the bottom of the frame on a Jack Mulford RBI single and then an Avon error. Werner drove in a run in the fifth to cut the deficit to one at 4-3. Wayland extended it to 5-3 in the sixth on a Collin Mehlenbacher RBI single. Avon tied it in the top of the seventh with a Michael Rowland double and a two-run homer by Xavier Rivera. Jake Jones started for Avon and struck out while surrendering two earned runs and five hits.

York picked up its first win over Caledonia-Mumford since 2005 behind Anna Lyness’s 3-of-5 effort with the bat . Lyness plated two with a triple to break open a tied game in the top of the seventh. Meredith Holland earned the win on the mound and struck out nine. Holland plated one in the seventh on an RBI double. For Caledonia-Mumford, Maddie Devore, Olivia Woodward, and Avery DeMarco all went 2-of-4.
