How they got here: Wheatland-Chili defeated No. 7 Hammondsport, 75-55, in the quarterfinals before downing third-seeded Honeoye, 65-46, in the semis.
Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School beat No. 4 South Seneca by a 85-58 score in the quarterfinals and took down No. 1 Fillmore, 58-40 in the semis.
Last time they met: Wheatland-Chili and Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School have not met in the 2020-21 season.

History 101: Wheatland-Chili’s last Section V championship came in 1985 when the Wildcats were in Class B. The last time the Wildcats appeared in a title game was in 2014, where they lost to Perry 56-48 in Class C3. Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School made its first appearance in Section V playoffs last year, and the Hornets lost in the quarterfinals against Genesee Valley 77-68.
