Webster Thomas sent a message to Section V beating Fairport on Thursday. The Titans Zack Wolfe had two goals and brothers Jack and Aidan Stappenbeck collected two and one goal, respectively.

WFL Panthers 4, Gates/Wayne/Wheatland-Chili 2
Hilton 1, Greece Storm 0

Hilton’s Josh Radler scored the only goal in the third period with 7:36 left in the game. It was Hilton’s second one-goal win of the week.

Canandaigua 8, Spencerport 0
Four final-period goals secured the win for Canandaigua. DJ Spychalski and Nathan LeGrette both had two goals apiece for the Braves.

SATURDAY
Brighton/HFL/ER (4-2) 2, Hilton (5-1) 1 (OT)

Hilton played another close game but this time it was Brighton/HFL/ER that comes out on top in overtime. Both teams scored in the second period only three minutes apart from each other. Josh Radler scored for Hilton then Eric Morrell answered for Brighton/HFL/ER. Four minutes into overtime, Chance Bears got the winner.

Rush-Henrietta/SOTA (1-4) 3, WFL Panthers (2-5) 2
Rush-Henrietta scored two goals in the second period to take a 2-0 lead into the final period. Mikey Valent and Mason Wright got the goals. The third period saw three goals and actually the Panthers evening it up. But Dominic Faggiano scored with 9:20 left to secure the win. This was the Panthers fourth game of the week and play another one Sunday.

Brockport (3-1-1) 7, Geneseo/Avon/Livonia (0-4-1) 1

Churchville-Chili (3-3) 3, Pittsford (1-5) 2(OT)
The Saints got the win in overtime thanks to a Nick Bowen goal in the extra period. The game was back and forth with neither team really getting an edge as neither went up by more than a goal the entire contest. Julius Horvath and Nicholas Rippe also scored for the Saints. Aidan McGrain scored both goals for Pittsford.

Gates/Wayne/Wheatland-Chili (3-2) 3, Greece Storm (1-3) 1
Spencerport 7, Notre Dame Batavia 4

AJ Giannavola notched three goals and one assist in the win. The Rangers were ahead the entire contest building a 3-0 lead in the first period. Gavin Schrader was able to cut the lead to 4-2 with his two goals, but that’s as close as Notre Dame of Batavia would get. Spencerport captain Ryan Plouffe made it a 6-2 contest in the third period sealing the win for the Rangers. There were a total of five goals in the final period alone.
