Josh Bolt scored five goals to help Wayne ease by Greece Odyssey. Tyler Reynolds and CJ Salatino both found the back of the net. Kaleb Glessing provided three helpers while Ryan Wilson contributed two. Wayne will take on Hornell in the B1 Semifinals.

Six different Livonia players found the back of the net to down Midlakes/RJ in the B1 quarter-finals. In the first half, Evan Maxwell, Jake Watkins and Aiden O’Keefe all scored while Shane Melead doubled up on tallies. Bryce Hoang and James Spezzano added insurance on top of the 5-0 lead in the second half. Hoang and Maxwell split four assists. Connor Feehan, Sheldon Nick and Evan Frazo each completed the match with one. Livonia faces Batavia in the semifinals.

No.4 PALMYRA-MACEDON (5-5-1) 1
Liam Khork provided two tallies for Hornell as it surpasses Pal-Mac in the B1 quarterfinals. Kade Slayton and Wyatt Argentieri each finished with a goal. Ian Ashworth, Shawn Rose and Genarro Picco provided an assist apiece for Hornell as well. Hornell is tasked with Wayne in the next round.

Carter Havens hit the game winner at the 38.02 mark, and Batavia advanced to the semi-finals for the first time in over 22 years. Noah Delcamp made three saves for the shutout. The Blue Devils will face Livonia in the next round.

No. 1 BATH-HAVERLING (12-1-0) 5
Keefer Calkins opened and capped off scoring for Bath-Haverling as it moved on to the Class B2 Semis with its 12th consecutive win. Zach Musso and Gavin Buckley provided insurance with a tally apiece. DJ Smith added an unassisted goal. Braden Yartym and Brady Dickson each finished with an assist. The Rams will take on Williamson in the next round.

No. 2 PENN YAN (6-4-1) 4
Zackary Townley completed a hat-trick to push Penn Yan into the Class B2 semifinals. The sophomore had only one goal heading into the postseason. Mason MacKerchar added the other tally on a feed from Nicholas Jarecke. Caiden Demarco finished with an assist as well. Penn Yan advanced to play Bishop Kearney.

Evan Stevely scored registered another hat trick and added an assist to lead Bishop Kearney over North Rose Wolcott. Stevely now has 28 goals on the season. Casey O’Gara and Ben Tantalo each provided a tally while Luke Tytler and Ezra McMullen both had assists for BK. Caleb Murray scored both goals and Schuyler Cole finished with an assist for Wolcott. Bishop Kearney takes on Penn Yan in the B2 semifinals.

No. 1 EAST ROCHESTER (11-1-0) 14
The Domm brothers combined for 12 goals as East Rochester proceeded onto the next round of the Class C1 playoffs. Chuck Domm finished with seven goals and seven assists. Russell Domm added five goals and three assists. Max Wagner scored and contributed three helpers. Ian Szemcsak had one goal as well. The Bombers will face Sodus in the semis.

Freshman Kyan Tiede scored his team-leading 12th goal of the season to power Pavilion/York past Avon. Jackson Feltham picked up an assist on the play. P/Y had lost to Avon twice during the regular season.

No. 4 BLOOMFIELD (7-4-0) 1
Kyle Zerbe scored twice and assisted in the first half to lead Sodus to the Class C1 Semifinals. Donovan Fillmore gave Sodus a 1-0 lead eight minutes into the match. Marcellus Burton finished with an assist as well.

Jason Greeson scored the game-winner for Bolivar-Richburg to down Cuba-Rushford and move on to the Class C2 semifinals. Landon Danaher opened scoring for the Wolverines. Jarrod Polk and Mark Pangburn finished with an assist apiece. B-R will take on Geneseo in the next round.

Austin Chapman found Ryan Lester twice in four minutes to lead Naples over Bradford/Dundee in the Class C2 Quarterfinals. Hulburt added insurance three minutes into the second half. Donivan Todd picked up the assist. Naples will play Kendall in the semifinals.

No. 4 KENDALL (6-8-0) 7
Michael McCue, Zach Barret and Jacob Esposito all scored twice to propel Kendall past Pembroke. McCue and Esposito each collected two assists while Barret added one. Derek Edick also scored his fourth of the season and Tory Raufeisen provided the helper. Kendall will take on Naples in the C2 Semifinals.

Michael Walton scored the lone tally in the second half to overtake Cal-Mum and move onto the Class C2 Semifinals. Sebri Fantauzzo collected an assist on the play and AJ Agosto earned the shutout. Geneseo had lost to Cal-Mum twice during the regular season. Geneseo plays Bolivar in the next round.

No. 9 GREECE ATHENA (6-6-1)

While the goals eventually came, it took Spencerport 21 minutes to score despite having possession for most of that time. The Rangers also weren’t putting many of their shots on net. All the ball control was good, but Spencerport head coach Jamie Schneider was worried about his team’s inability to find the net early on. READ MORE.

Mercy scored late in both halves to hand Pittsford Mendon its first loss and move onto the Class A Semifinals. Caroline Murphy scored the game-winner with six minutes remaining in regulation. Caroline D’Anza got Mercy on the board with two minutes left in the first half. Haley Edwards added her second goal of the year. Shannon Trevor assisted on all Mercy tallies as well. Kayla Silverstein gave Churchville a lead it would not concede and Skylar Williams made eight saves to hold HFL scoreless for the first time this season. Amelia Breton added insurance 15 minutes after half on touches from Hannah Shipley. Churchville advances to play Our Lady of Mercy in the Class A Semifinals.

Pittsford Sutherland’s 1-0 lead lasted 56 minutes and eight seconds of game time, until sophomore Maggie Cregan, the third-year varsity player who accompanied Amelia Adiutori on those informal training sessions, strode to the right corner and raised an arm to signal she was ready to kick. Trailing 1-0 after one half, Grace Russell completed a hat-trick to charge Fillmore’s comeback victory. Sophia Templeton contributed a goal and two assists for the Eagles. Zoe Beardsley scored once and Rachel Hatch finished with a helper as well. For Finney, Gracie Groome opened-scoring five minutes before halftime, unassisted. Finney keeper Paris Blackmon made 14 saves while Fillmore’s Preslee Miller made seven. Fillmore will face Keshequa in the Class D1 Semis.

In soccer’s final resort to declare a winner, Genesee Valley buried two and held Honeoye scoreless in three-and-a-half rounds of penalty kicks. Sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Burrows turned away two shots while the others found post and grass wide of the net. In her first sectional game, Burrows was perfect when it meant the most. READ MORE.

Hannah Southwick-Powers found netting four times to lead Belfast to the D2 Semifinals. Alicia Borden and Angel Jimerson added a goal apiece in the second half, both unassisted. Mary Hamer and Harley Proctor each collected an assist for the Bulldogs as well. Belfast is to take on Jasper-Troupsburg in the next round.

Emma Sisson opened scoring in the 37th minute on a feed from Mackenzy Nenni. Skye Colantonio and Brenna Munn added a tally apiece in the second half to suppress comeback chances. Autumn Mathisen and Kate Ricupito each collected an assist as well. The Fighting Irish take on Andover/Whitesville in the next round.
