RIT men’s and women’s hockey to rebroadcast historic games as part of Brick City Weekend

ROCHESTER, NY — RIT Hockey fans and alumni can relive two historic moments in the history of the two programs as part of 2020 Brick City Weekend. Fans on and off campus can view a replay of the women’s hockey team winning the 2012 NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m., and catch a replay of the 2010 NCAA East Region Semifinal game between RIT and top-seeded Denver on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Kevin Roche will host Bruce B. Bates Women’s Hockey Coach Celeste Brown to relive memories, answer fan questions and offer insights into the Tigers first national championship.

Men’s hockey coach Wayne Wilson will join Roche on Sunday evening to relive the memories from the Tigers dramatic 2-1 win over Denver to kick off the Tigers dramatic run to the Frozen Four.

RIT students on campus may watch each game on the field adjacent to the Student Life Center located between Tiger Stadium and the baseball field. RIT SAAC will be giving away blankets to the first 300 attendees at each game.

Fans and alumni are encouraged to submit questions and comments to each coach via the @RITMHKY and @RITWHKY Twitter accounts.
