Alec Teska (St. John Fisher College) held DP Green to two runs over six innings for his third win in four starts. The 6-foot right-hander limited the damage to three hits and one walk while striking out nine. Prior to this start, he had pitched 10 shutout innings.
Ryan O’Mara (Niagara University) closed the door in the seventh with two strikeouts for his first save of the season. DJ Berry (University of Tampa) went 2-of-2 and crossed home twice using three stolen bases. Jeff Wilson (Le Moyne College) put the Blue Jays on the board with a two-run double in the opening frame. Wilson scored on Amaury Samalot’s (Alfred State College) bases-loaded walk later in the inning.
Noah Campanelli (St. John Fisher College), Nolan Hicks, Tyler Holmes (University of Hartford) and John Tarmino (St. Bonaventure University) each registered a base knock in the contest.
For Diamond Pro Green, Keenan Calenzo drove in both runs on a first-pitch single in the top of the fourth to cut the lead in half. Joey Leuzzi, James Stanek and Gage Ziehl each had a hit.

The Blue Jays exploded for 12 runs and nine hits in the first three innings to subdue Diamond Pro Green in Game 2. Tyler Holmes (University of Hartford) led the barrage with a two-run shot and an RBI double. He finished with four RBI, two runs scored and two walks.
Hayden Smith (Northeastern University) hurled five innings of one-run ball, allowing only two hits. The righty struck out six in the contest. Ryan Smith (Ithaca College) closed out the final two innings with three strikeouts, a walk and one hit.
DJ Berry (University of Tampa), Noah Campanelli (St. John Fisher College) and Holmes each finished with two runs scored and two walks. Jason Story (Utica College) registered his first two base knocks of the season after going hitless in his first nine games. He finished 2-of-2 with a RBI.
Nolan Hicks went 2-of-4 with a RBI and a run scored. Jeff Wilson (Le Moyne College) cashed in a two-run single with the bases loaded in the opening frame. All 12 Blue Jay batters reached base.
For Diamond Pro Green, Keenan Calenzo, DJ Stoianovich and Keeler Thomas were the only batters to get a hit. Stoianovich also threw one shutout inning, with a strikeout and a walk.

Christian Montanez (RWU) and Jourdan Plaisted (Elmira College) ignited a three-run Monarchs comeback to win Game 1. Montanez knotted the contest at six apiece with an opposite field, three-run bomb in the fifth. Plaisted drove in his second RBI of the game with a single for a 7-6 lead the Monarchs would not relinquish.
Montanez is on a five-game hitting streak after going hitless in his first five games of the season. The 6-foot-6 righty has seven hits on the season and tied with Dylan Mackenzie (Flyin’ Fish/SUNY Cortland) with a league-high three home runs.
Hayden Ewell (Southern New Hampshire University) earned the victory after shutting down the Snow Cats in the final two innings, allowing two hits and striking out three. Gavin Moore (Alfred State College) was 3-of-3 with a triple, run scored and RBI.
Frank Fernandes, Justin LoTemple (Alfred State College) and Andrew Sanchez (Mercyhurst University) each collected a hit in the game.
Mark Trotta (College of William and Mary) led the Snow Cats offense with three hits and two runs scored as the team jumped out to a 6-2 lead after three innings. He is now 13-for-26 on the year and has five multi-hit games in 10 appearances.
Garrett Bell (Ithaca College), Patrick Blackall (Rochester Institute of Technology), Nick Franceschi (Cayuga Community College) and Branden Myers (St. Bonaventure University) all had a hit.

The Snow Cats made their one hit stand as their pitching led the team to the doubleheader split. The duo of Jack Leahy (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Rojo Prairie (College of William and Mary) combined to allow only four hits and strike out nine. Leahy retired the first nine batters he faced. Prairie induced a fly out to end the game with the tying run on first base.
The Snow Cats used small ball to score the go-ahead run in the fifth inning. Tied at one, Matt Smith (Ithaca College) reached first on a fielder’s choice, advanced to third on a pair of wild pitches and scored on James Cronin’s (St. Lawrence University) sacrifice fly.
Patrick Blackall (Rochester Institute of Technology) accounted for the team’s lone hit with a run-scoring single in the second.
For the Monarchs, Trevor Povlock (Rochester Institute of Technology) struck out seven in four innings of one-hit ball. Nick Serce (Alfred State College) hurled two hitless frames of relief. Lucas Jackson (Onondaga CC) doubled and scored the the Monarchs lone run in the fourth. Ryan Hill (Monroe CC) collected an RBI.
