AJ Gartland (Alfred State) dominated on the mound, and the Snow Cats maintained their lead in the Rochester Division West. Gartland struck out 13 in six innings of work and improved to 2-0 on the season. The southpaw retired the first 11 batters he faced before surrendering a two-out single in the fourth inning. He allowed only three balls out of the infield. Matt Smith (Ithaca) drove in the first run of the game with an RBI double scoring Lachlan Charles (Cornell) to give the Snow Cats a 1-0 lead after five. Mark Trotta (William & Mary) went 2-for-3 on the night and scored a run off an error in the sixth inning. Cam Vozel (Gannon) added one in the sixth inning, pushing the lead to 3-0 with an RBI single. Gil Merod (Ithaca) put up an insurance run in the seventh driving in a run with a single to right field. Rojo Prarie (William & Mary) put on the finishing touche striking out the side to close out the seventh.
Ryan Demitrovic (Alfred State) threw the first four innings for the Flyin Fish. Demitrovic got out of a fourth-inning jam by forcing a flyout to centerfield to keep the game 0-0 after four. Nate Sanderson (Hilbert) got the lone hit for the Flyin Fish.

Santino Rosso (Hofstra) accounted for half of the Cardinals runs in the victory. The middle infielder went 2-for-4, scoring three runs and driving in two more. Rosso struck first for the Cardinals coming around to score in the top of the first on a single from Tyler Coy (VCU). The Cardinals put up three runs in the second, all with two outs. Stephen Kemp (Medaille) and Seth Vigneri (Cortland) got on base. Rosso drove them both in with a double. Rosso came in to score off an error. The Cardinals put the game away in the sixth inning when Matt Kerchemski (Erie Community College) drove in Jackson DeJohn (St. Bonaventure) with a double to push the lead to 8-2. Kerchemski came around to score off an error to get the lead to 9-2. DeJohn went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.
Joseph Alphonse (Alfred State) was credited with the win after pitching three innings and only giving up one earned run. Alphonse gave up four hits and struck out two. Joshua Ferris (Finger Lakes Community College) pitched another three innings for the Cardinals. Ferris struck out three, gave up two hits, and zero earned runs. DP Green put up a four-spot in the bottom of the seventh to get closer to the Cardinals. Max Heil, Joey Leuzzi (McQuaid), Camden Chierchella, and Aiden Stewart (McQuaid) all drove in a run in the seventh. Devin Cannon went 2-for-4, Preston Prince (Hilton) went 1-for-2 with an RBI, and Leuzzi went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.
