Genesee Valley opened up beating Eugino Maria 77-68 in the Quarter-Finals, following up that with beating Batavia-Notre Dame 59-54 in the semi-finals.
Last time they met: Top-seeded Avoca beat No. 5 Genesee Valley, 78-76 in the semifinals of the 2019 Class D2 tournament.
