After the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds made appearances the semifinals, it comes down to the top two teams in the bracket to determine a champion. No. 1 Lyons and No. 2 Perry will square off on Friday, March 6 at 7 PM at the Blue Cross Arena. Here’s the breakdown:

How they got here: Lyons defeated Pembroke 73-46 in the quarterfinals. The Lions then beat Geneseo 62-60. Perry defeated Cuba-Rushford 59-45 in the quarterfinals. The Yellow Jackets followed that up with a 63-56 win over Alexander.
Last time they met: Lyons beat Perry 93-65 in last season’s Class C2 semifinals.
History 101: These were two of the top Class C programs of the 2010s. Lyons won the Class C2 championship in 2013, 2018 and 2019 and a Class C3 title in 2015. The Lions also lost in the Class C2 title game in 2012. Perry won Class C2 in 2010 and C3 in 2014. The Yellow Jackets lost in the Class C2 championship game in 2011, 2017 and 2018.
