Ryan Garwood broke a Section V record by making 13 three pointers in Northstar Christian’s fifth consecutive win. Garwood finished the game with 51 points, a career high. He only needed 20 attempts to break the record, one that his father and coach, JJ Garwood, once held. Chris Verosky previously set the record in 2007 with 12 made threes while he played at C.G. Finney. It was not a one-man show for the Knights, as Sean Smith recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists. Turner Harris also pitched in 17 points for Northstar Christian. Austin Uhl (Coleman Catholic) holds the New York State individual record for 3-pointers made in a game with 15. Uhl set the record in January of 2016.

Daryl Morrell led Romulus in scoring, netting 14 points. Devon Morrell and Raul Fuentes scored six apiece for the Warriors, while Mike Kaufman added five and Camden Derby had four. Luke Willower (2), Ben Jessop (2) and Dan Reyes (1) also scored for Romulus.

Chase Rizzo’s 27-point effort helped keep Red Jacket unbeaten with its second win over Bloomfield this season. Rizzo also added seven rebounds and two steals. Matt Record had 14 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Andrew DaMore and Adam Borst both finished just shy of a double-double for the Indians, with DaMore finishing with eight points and 10 rebounds and Borst posting four points and 10 assists. Adam Sheehan led Bloomfield in scoring with 18 points. Cooper Wille had seven points while Sean Farrell, Issac McClelland and Eric Sandle all had five apiece. Calvin Rogers (3) and Simon Wille (1) rounded out the scoring for the Bombers.

A double-double by Frankie Bisceglie helped Attica get back in the win column. Bisceglie finished the game with 17 points and 11 boards. Ayden Goll led the Blue Devils in scoring, netting 24 points. Goll also had six rebounds and five assists. Drew Cusmano also stuffed the stat sheet, scoring eight points, ripping down 10 rebounds and dishing out six dimes. Tyler Meyer also pitched in nine points and six assists for Attica. Derick Edick led Kendall with 24 points and also added four steals. Mason Kuhn had a double-double for the Eagles, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Riley Hirschman notched eight points and six assists for Kendall.

Greyson Huntington scored 13 points in the first half as Elba opened up a 29-point lead at halftime. The Lancers ended up cruising to their fifth win in the past six games. Huntington finished the game with 17 points. Collin O’Halloran and Colton Dillon both eclipsed Huntington in the scoring column, netting 21 and 18, respectively. Zach Marsceill had five points and Caleb Scouten had four, representing the only other players for Elba to make multiple field goals. Jayden Hughes (3) and Andrew Hare (2) rounded out the scoring for the Lancers. Nicolas Baubie was the only player for Byron-Bergen to score in double figures, pouring in 18 points. Three Bees came within a field goal of 10 points, with Travis Lambert scoring nine points, Alexander Brumsted scoring eight and Chad Green scoring seven. Jerrod Amesbury (6), Kevin Smith (4), Wyatt Sando (2) and Bryce Yockel (2) also pitched into the offensive effort for Byron-Bergen.
