Senior guard Kobe Long exploded for a career-high 44 points as the Jesuit Knights won their fifth straight game. Long nailed eight three pointers and scored 34 points in the second half. With the game tied 34-34 at halftime, Long’s second half ultimately gave his team the victory. Jermaine Taggart scored 21 points, 10 of them coming in the first quarter. Keith Warren added nine points. Sophomore Jacob Works led Liverpool with 28 points in the loss. Kyle Caves netted 15 points, and and Jack Pento added 11 points. The Jesuit Knights hit a program-high 20 3-pointers in their over Franklin on Thursday. After securing a six-point lead at half, Albion surged back and took a two point lead going into the fourth. With the help of Colton Dillon’s 11 second half points, Elba was able to fight back and pick up the win. Dillon finished with 19 points. Jaykob Belluscio added 11 points, six of which came in the fourth. CJ Gottler scored nine points, and Zach Marsceill netted six points. Deyonci Farley led Albion with 19 points and splashed three deep balls. Kevin Hillman and Bailey Blanchard netted seven points apiece. With the game knotted with less than two minutes to play, Martinez handed out assists to Joe Pagano and Luis Saez to seal the game.
