The Alexander Trojans (NYSSWA No. 4 Class D) in the first half were dominant putting up 42 points. Dylan Busch was 14-for-19 in the first half for 258 yards and four touchdowns to Kam Lyons, Vinny Sotir, Nick Kramer and Josh DeVries. He ended 15-for-20 for 287 yards. Lyons had six receptions for 95 yards, DeVries had two catches for 69 yards, Ty Woods had three catches for 53 yards and Connor Hollands added two catches for 41 yards. On the ground, the Trojans had eight different runners totaling 231 yards and four touchdowns. Hayden Walton led the team with 10 carries for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Woods had three carries for 45 yards and a score and Jay Morrison had six carries for 50 yards and a score. DeVries added two carries for 41 yards. Other runners included Ethan Heineman, Nate Luker, Sotir, and Kramer. Defensively, Heineman had eight tackles, three were tackles for loss. Walton had six tackles. Woods and Nolan Quackenbush each had fumble recoveries. The Trojans kicker Eric Cline was once again perfect going 8-for-8 on the PAT’s.

Avon took the lead in the fourth quarter by three and Tyler Meyer returned the next kickoff return for a touchdown to give Attica (NYSSWA No. 17 Class C) the lead they did not surrender. Zach Strzelec compiled 155 yards on 18 carries for two touchdowns. Jacob Gross added 121 yards on 17 carries and had a touchdown. On defense, Lucas Krawczyk had 12 tackles with a sack. Strzelec also had 12 tackles. Josh Conrad had seven tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery and Baron Beal added an interception. The Avon offense recorded 301 yards of offense behind quarterback Nick Rowland who went 8-for-20 for 105 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Welch led the ground game with 97 yards on 11 carries and also had a catch for 26 yards. Xavier Rivera added 88 yards on 14 carries and had two touchdowns. Roman Volpe led the receiving with four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. On defense, Andrew Rowland had seven tackles and Nick Rowland had five to lead the team.

Greece Olympia/Odyssey’s Xavier Hurell led the offense going 11-for-22 for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 34 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Darnell Williams caught four passes for 109 yards and a score. Luke Strong added five catches for 76 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Corey Bright had 10 carries for 66 yards with 10 tackles and a sack on defense. Jabril Green also had five carries for 54 yards. Makyle Murdock led the defense with 12 tackles that included one for a loss.

The Palmyra-Macedon offense was highlighted on the ground as Ryan Quigley had eight carries for 142 yards and two touchdowns with a catch for 46 yards. Josh Shafer had six carries for 50 yards with a score and Sam Wizeman added five carries for 36 yards with a catch for 50 yards. Quarterback Zach Baker went 7-for-11 through the air for 187 yards and two touchdowns to Sage Hunter for 70 yards and Grady Arnold for six yards. Linwood Carswell compiled 167 yards on 20 carries for Midlakes. He also added two catches for 10 yards. Logan Carr caught his only pass of the day for 16 yards and a score from quarterback Bryson Carswell who finished 5-for-10 for 56 yards. DJ Loughney added a 55-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

ER/Gananda’s TJ Swagler compiled a game-high six touchdowns with 180 yards rushing on 29 carries and five touchdowns on the ground and a receiving touchdown. Christian Clarcq added 14 carries for 78 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Dion Mather finished 4-for-8 for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Manny Sepulveda had a 40-yard reception touchdown. Mekhi Mahan led Penn Yan’s offense through the air and on the ground. He went 7-for-13 for 128 yards and two touchdowns with 22 carries for 162 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Damien Snyder had nine carries for 40 yards and two catches for 13 cards. On the receiving end, Brennan Prather finished with three catches for 91 yards and a score as well as four carries for 19 yards. Jonathan Droney had two catches for 24 yards and a score.

Brighton’s Tahj Jackson ran the Barons to victory with 14 carries for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a pick on defense. Jayden Pope had 100 yards rushing and a score on 10 carries. Quarterback Brennan Clasgens went 7-for-11 for 71 yards with 12 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown. Sam Tourangeau led the receiving core with five catches for 58 yards and a rush for a 12-yard touchdown. Brighton accumulated 451 yards of offense.

James Kennedy highlighted the York/Pavilion offense attack going 6-for-14 for 192 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Davis recorded two receptions for 63 yards and two touchdowns. Riley Stella had two catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. Kadin Peete had 68 yards on eight carries and Ethan Doran had seven carries for 59 yards. On defense, Parker Phelps led the team with 10 tackles. Doran had eight tackles. Hunter Spuck had four tackles with a forced fumble. Peete and Antonio Rodriquez each had a interception return for a touchdown.

Caledonia-Mumford/Byron Bergen’s Bryce Yockel surpassed the 1,000 yard mark for his third straight season. He ran for 281 yards on 28 carries and had three rushing touchdowns. Vincent Molisani had an interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter. Kyle Wade caught a 43-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Joseph Laursen. Wayland-Cohocton’s Ethan Trischler threw a flea flicker touchdown pass to Deandre Green to tie the game in the first. Ben Teed ran in a touchdown from two yards out and Green scored again in the fourth from a touchdown pass from Thomas Mead.
