Three different second-half goal scorers lifted Wayne (No. 20 NYSSWA Class A) to its sixth consecutive victory and handed Mynderse its first loss of the season. Dylan Cook broke the scoreless tie in the 51st minute on an assist from Justin Jantzi. 16 minutes after, Matt Gentile found Alex Cook for his first of the season. Gentile later capped off the scoring with eight minutes remaining in the match. Kaleb Glessing earned the assist on the final tally.

Using six goals in the first half, Bloomfield defeated Marcus Whitman for the second time this year. Adam Sheehan led the way with four tallies and an assist. Ryan Wollschleger and Eric Sandle each added two goals apiece. Sergio Dunn and Luis Dunn both added one as well. CJ Lewis, Jared Sheaves, Sergio Dunn and Ryan Wollschleger each accounted for an assist in the match.

Five first-half tallies from Geneva led the Panthers to their fourth win in five games. Jordan Myer opened scoring with two goals five minutes apart. Mason Rusinko netted his 14th of the year on an assist from Rye Weber to increase the lead to 3-0. Defenseman Zach Martinez and freshman Nate Rusinko both added one of their own to the lead before halftime. Kaya Parara and Deklan Woznick each picked up an assist while Daniel Wright collected two.

Nik Eustace scored once and collected two assists to lead Letchworth/Warsaw to its third consecutive win at home. After Eustace tallied the game’s first goal, Eric Woodworth doubled the lead off one of his assists. Adam Grover made it 3-0 nine minutes after halftime and Shawn Drumma increased the lead to four on a feed from Quinn Bannister.

William Gocher scored 25 minutes into the match on a helper from Aaron Lund to give Wheatland-Chili the 1-0 lead. Thirteen minutes later, Brad Kingdollar found Kohl Morgan to tie the game for Holley. The game remained tied through regulation and two overtimes.

LeRoy used five different goal scorers and a 12-save performance from Kenneth Saunders to shut down Caledonia-Mumford. Maveric McKenzie and Cameron Smith gave the Knights the early 2-0 lead. Nicholas Vallese tallied his sixth of the season on a penalty kick and Landon Calabrese made it 4-0 before the end of the first half. Calabrese found Evan Sherwood for the final LeRoy goal. Benjamin Herrick, Austin Biggins and Alexander Gramkov all collected an assist apiece.

With five minutes left in the second overtime, freshman Jackson McErnery scored his first goal of the season to break the scoreless tie and give Livonia its fourth win. Evan Maxwell assisted on the game winner.

John Mahoney’s Churchville-Chili XI opened the boys’ soccer season with one win and three losses. After downing Hilton 1-0 in their opener, the Saints fell in succession to Wayne, Webster Thomas and Spencerport. The latter three of those squads appeared in Monday’s New York State rankings. Max LaRosa scored four times in 40 minutes to lead Spencerport over Irondequoit for the second time this year. Greg Ranieri and Jacob Lenhard added to LaRosa’s hat trick to give the Ramgers a 5-0 lead going into half time. Frants Valodzka assisted twice while Patrick Uebelacker, Lenhard and Ranieri all finished with one helper. The win was the seventh straight for the Rangers (No. 18 NYSSWA Class A) who have outscored opponents by a combined total of 31-3.

Jon Gretzinger’s two goals and an assist in the second half propelled Lima Christian to its second victory of the year. Evan Herring scored the second goal of the half, splitting Gretzinger’s tallies.

East Rochester improved its perfect record to 8-0-0 on a four-point performance from Russell Domm and two tallies by Chuck Domm. Justin Gutierrez, Nathan Jantz and Michael Bupp scored the final three tallies for East Rochester (No. 1 NYSSWA Class C). Russell Domm collected three assists while Jantz and Bupp added one apiece.

Bradford used three first-half goals to combat Arkport-Canaseraga’s single tally and grab a win after suffering a loss that snapped its five-game win streak. Blai Crespo fed Logan Ayers to open scoring for Bradford. Westin Sorber connected with Brock Sorber for the defenseman’s first of the year and Michael English found Crespo to increase the lead. In the second half, Steven Spina netted his fourth of the year on a penalty kick. Josh Abraham scored on an assist from Konnor Stuckley for Arkport-Canaseraga’s lone goal.

Andrew Balch scored three goals to lead Olympia. Jacob Landro added two goals and an assist. Will Buttino had an assist. Newark rallied from a 4-1 second-half deficit to level the match.
