Wellsville’s Joe Tronetti secured a one-hit, complete-game shutout, taking a no-hit bid into the seventh inning. His offense backed him with the game’s seven runs in the first three innings. Tyler Smith led the Lions with two hits and one run scored. Colin Cook and Jeremiah Havens each rocked a double and knocked in two runs on the night. Helping his case, Tronetti went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Bath-Haverling’s Alec Sestak broke up Tronetti no-hit bid with a single to right in their final ups. AJ Brotz threw the first 2.1 innings for the Rams, allowing seven runs, four earned. Austin Palmer threw the next 2.2 innings in relief and Zolan Moran closed out the game. The duo combined for one hit allowed, four strikeouts and six walks.
