Friday Wrap: Livonia walks off

Livonia came back from down 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring three runs for the walk-off win. Jason Dutra provided the winning run, slapping the game-winning single following Jake Smith scoring on a passed ball, and AJ Davin tying the game with a single to right field. Dutra finihsed the contest 2-for-3 with three RBI. Jack Kearney tossed three innings on the mound and struck out two. Austin Hawker earned the win. Elmwood scored quickly, opening the game by scoring a run in each of the first three innings, leading 3-0 after three. Livonia plated three runs in the bottom of the third to tie the game. Elmwood reclaimed the lead in the top of the sixth, holding off a comeback attempt in the bottom half and adding an insurance run in the top of the seventh, before finally falling.
