JoJo Plummer paced Webster Schroeder to a pair of victories last week. Devin Walton filled the stat sheet in two Gates-Chili wins. Mike Harrington combined for 37 points with one double-double to help maintain Pittsford Mendon’s streak. Travon Harper contributed on both ends of the floor in Greece Odyssey’s win.

For their standout performances, Monroe County recognized the four as the Player of the Week (Jan. 20-25) in their respective division.

Schroeder took down Victor for the second time this season and followed that with a win at home over Brighton. Plummer scored 15 points to steady the Warriors in the win over Victor and 18 in Schroeder’s 58-37 triumph over Brighton. The junior forward shot 60 percent from the floor, grabbed 18 rebounds, handed out seven assists and collected four steal. Plummer has now reached double figure points in five straight games and in 11 games throughout the season. Schroeder (7-7) returns to its home court on Tuesday, Jan. 29 to face NE Douglass at 7:15 p.m.

Walton averaged 13.5 points per game last week, going 10-for-23 from the field and 5-for-9 from the line. The junior guard also pulled down eight rebounds, grabbed five steals, and dished out six assists. Against Wilson Magnet, Walton scored 13 points in the team’s 86-79 win. At Canandaigua, he tallied 14 while going 4-for-4 from the line, as Gates-Chili won 70-48. The Spartans (13-2) are set to face Irondequoit on Friday, Feb. 1, with a 7:15 p.m. tip.

Harrington contributed big to help extend Mendon’s season-long win streak to 12 wins, as well as his own person double-digit games streak to 12 straight. The senior guard recorded a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds in the Vikings’ 94-62 victory against Rush-Henrietta. On his way to 16, he went 5-for-8 from the floor, 2-for-3 from behind the arc, and 4-for-6 at the line. Ten of his 16 dropped in the second quarter. He then one-upped that performance with a 21-point one against crosstown rival Pittsford Sutherland. Harrington drained six shots on 12 attempts from the field and nine of his 14 attempts at the line. He also grabbed eight boards and three steals. Mendon (12-0) faces Leadership on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7:15 p.m.

Harper shot 50 percent from the field on his way to 12 points in Greece Odyssey’s 73-59 win over Wellsville. The senior guard, who averages 11.4 points per game, has now scored double figures in five straight games and nine overall. Harper also grabbed five rebounds and three steals, while handing out six assists. Odyssey (12-2) tips off at home at 7:15 p.m. against Eastridge on Thursday, Jan. 29.
