Jaden Hartsfield scored 21 points and led three in double figures for Odyssey (No. 19 NYSSWA Class B) which won back-to-back games and seven of the last eight. Travon Harper added 12 points, and Ray Colbert had 10. Max Jusianic paced Wellsville (No. 25 NYSSWA Class B) with 20 points.  Joe Tronetti had 11 for the Lions which had won four straight and five of six coming into the contest.

James Jones (4), Steve Mahar (4), Jack Bleier (3), Jack Scanlon (3) and Myles Blackwood (2) rounded out the scoring for Aquinas.

JoJo Plummer netted eight of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter when Schroeder jumped to a 22-10 lead. Luke Insley added seven points in the opening stanza and finished with 17 on the day. The junior guard connected three times from 3-point land in the contest. Colin Merkey scored eight points while Collin Donnelly and Nick Hauman had four points apiece. Josh Hauman contributed three points, and Evan Ferrari had two. The win was the second straight for Schroeder and fifth in their last six games. In four of those wins, the Warriors have held opponents under 50 points. Matt Falter paced Brighton with 14 points. Jack Falter connected on a pair of 3-pointers and finished with nine points. Nate Sponsel (6), Lukas Stanat (3), Chase Seibold (2), Tyler Evans (2) and Najeeb Awad (1) rounded out the scoring for the Barons.

Riley Stella scored 18 points while David Cuozzo and Josh Davis scored 14 apiece to lead York over Prattsburgh (No. 1 NYSSWA Class D. Matt McFarland added nine points, and Lucas Maggio had eight. Mason Putnam converted 15 of 16 free throws to lead Prattsburgh with 39 points.

“I’m really proud of the way we battled on the road today,” York head coach Ed Orman, Jr. said. “Our guys had great energy and focus. Putnam is a great player and we were far from perfect but that is a huge momentum builder for us hopefully!”

York took a 39-27 lead into halftime.

Four players scored in double figures for World of Inquiry in their second straight win. The World of Inquiry Griffins outscored Greece Olympia, 39-27, in the second half including 22 in the fourth quarter. Tremier Dollar netted nine in the final period and finished with 17 points. The senior guard went 6-of-11 from the free throw line. Senior center Bobby Searight scored 17 points of his own. Jahlil Bell and Jeshua Shaw each netted 13. Shaw knocked down four shots from beyond the arc. For Greece Olympia, sophomore guard Darnell Williams scored a season-high 24 points. Sophomore forward Collin James had 22 of his own. Senior guard Kris Perez went 2-of-2 from the charity stripe and netted 12 points. Other scorers- World of Inquiry: Ja’Quan Close (9), Romel Brown (3), Greece Olympia: Jeff Jung (3).

Vanzell Johnson topped Fairport with 16 points, followed by Ryan Lucey with 11 points. Johnson scored nine points during a 27-point fourth quarter for the Red Raiders. After heading into halftime knotted with Fairport at 25 apiece, Penfield took control of the game with an 18-3 scoring difference in the third quarter, entering the fourth with a 43-28. However, Fairport would not be beaten so easily, staging a comeback. Battling back to trail by just five points with 54.7 seconds remaining in regulation, Brett Heininger knocked down a pair of free throws, then Max Molisani snatched the ball away from the Patriots and laid the ball in to cut the lead to one point. This set up Lucey to sink the game-winning basket with two seconds left, taking the lead and the win for the Red Raiders. After the dust settled, Fairport had outscored the Patriots 27-11 in the fourth quarter. The win was the fourth in Fairport’s last five games. Patrick Piampiano netted 22 points with a trio of threes to lead Penfield. Piampiano also went 9-for-10 from the charity stripe. Javion Monroe added 15 points for the Patriots. Penfield has lost four of its last five games. The senior forward netted 10 of his 18 points in the second half as both teams scored 40 in the final two periods. Carr finished with three shots from beyond the arc and went 3-of-4 at the free throw line. Tah’Jae Hill poured in 19 of his game-high 39 points in the third quarter as the Hilton Cadets outscored Rush-Henrietta, 24-17. The junior guard hit 10 of his 13 made field goals from inside the arc and went 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Trailing 16-12 at the end of the first quarter, Rush-Henrietta Shamire Broyld netted 22 of his team-high 25 points in the final three periods. The senior forward made seven shots from inside the arc and eight of his 10 attempts from the foul line. Josh Stenglein scored 16 points, including 11 in the second quarter and three 3-pointers, to lead Irondequoit (No. 20 NYSSWA Class A). Kenny Gonzalez followed with a season-high 12 points, finishing 4-for-4 from the free throw line. The Eagles go started quickly, outscoring Spencerport 16-7 in the first quarter, and headed to the locker room with a 39-10 lead at the half. Irondequoit has now won six of its last seven games, with the last three wins coming by over 25 points.  Gino Pellett finished as Spencerport’s lone double-digit scorer with 10 points, with Patrick Uebelacker adding eight points and Trey Kubitz contributing a season-high seven points. The Rangers have now lost three consecutive games, surrendering 64 points in each of the last two games. Adam Williams led Gates-Chili to their sixth consecutive victory with 14 of his season-high 29 points in the first quarter and four three-pointers. The Gates-Chili Spartans led Canadaigua, 22-9, at the end of the first period. Devin Walton scored four in each of the final three quarters of play and went 4-of-4 at the free throw line en route to 14 points. Turner Harris collected all seven of his points in the second quarter. The Spartans took a 55-28 lead into the final quarter of play. Ryan Welch topped Canandaigua with 11 points, finishing the evening 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Casey Heron and Drew Boseck each contributed seven points. Kelvin Reaves, Jr. scored all 16 of his points in the first three quarters as the Greece Athena Trojans extended their lead to 53-36. The senior guard made two shots from beyond the arc and went 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Junior guard DeAndre Newsome chipped in 11 points. For Brockport, Samuel Velletri scored all 16 of his points in the second half. The junior guard knocked down four three-pointers and went 2-of-2 at the free throw line. Senior guard Kyle Palka netted 12 of his 16 points in the second half and converted seven shots from inside the arc. Willie Ball chipped in 12. The Wolves hit all 11 of their free throws. For Naples, senior guard Cole Rathbun scored nine points. The senior forward hit eight shots from inside the arc. Griffin Herron and Jared King each scored 11 points. Herron had eight in the fourth quarter-all on free throws as the Mynderse Blue Devils outscored Penn Yan, 17-16. Trailing 12-6 at the end of the first quarter, Penn Yan senior forward Connor Fingar had all 13 of his team-high points in the final three periods. Sophomore forward Mason Kuver scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter and knocked down two shots from beyond the arc. Tim McClare scored 10 of his team-high 18 points in the second half as Gananda outscored Marion, 27-18, in the final two periods for their 11th victory in the last 12 games. The senior center hit eight shots from inside the arc and went 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Jayden Castrechini netted 12 of his 16 points in the first quarter as the Blue Panthers outscored the Marion, 36-7. The senior guard knocked down seven shots from inside the arc and two free throws. Senior forward Zach Dier scored 9 of his 13 points in the first period as well. Sophomore guard Andrew Gabbard contributed 10. For the Black Knights, senior center Jonathan Binau scored all 21 of his game-high points after the first period. Avoca (No. 3 NYSSWA Class D) traveled to Wayne County and picked up a non-league win over Williamson. After a back and forth first quarter, the Avoca Tigers led 18-17. The Tigers’ defense clamped down and held the Williamson Marauders to five points in the second quarter en route to a 37-22 halftime lead. For the Tigers, senior Ladre Stanford scored 14 points and hauled in 13 rebounds in the first half. Nathan Nunn netted 13 points through the first two periods The Tigers held the Marauders to eight points in the third quarter and led, 58-30. Nunn finished with 26 points, including nine shots from inside the arc and 5-of-8 from the free throw line. Stanford finished with 21 along with 15 rebounds. The senior forward scored all of his points in the first three quarters and hit 10 shots from inside the arc. For the Marauders, senior forward Marty Williams scored 12 points. Wayne’s Logan Holgado scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the first quarter to help lead Wayne over Waterloo. Nick Carmichael scored 17 points. Logan Blankenberg had 13 points and Nathan McKenna added 11. Waterloo’s Derek Slywka scored a team-high 13 points. Kyle Slywka finished with 12. Jake Hamilton 21 points paced Geneseo which took a 20-16 lead after the first quarter and 36-29 at halftime. Danny Kelly collected 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Noah Reilly had 13 points and eight rebounds. Perry’s Cameron Campbell and Carson DeVinney scored 12 points apiece. Michael Hockey and Michael John Grover both scored 11 points.
