RIT’s Drackett named Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Month

ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore goaltender Logan Drackett (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) of the RIT men’s hockey team, was named Atlantic Hockey Association Goaltender of the Month for November, 2018. It is his first monthly honor.

Drackett finished 3-3-1 with a 2.29 goals against average and a .915 save percentage during the month of November. He was named Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week on Nov. 13 after earning two wins over American International and recorded his first shutout later that evening, stopping 25 shots in a 2-0 win over Canisius.

This season, Drackett has played in all 13 games for the Tigers, recording a 6-6-1 mark, 2.23 goals against average and a .923 save percentage. His .923 save percentage is 16th best in Division I. He has played in 782 of 790 minutes in goal this season.

RIT is right back in action this weekend with a pair of home games against AHA foe Sacred Heart University. Friday’s game from the Gene Polisseni Center begins at 7:05 p.m., while Saturday’s contest gets underway at 5:05 p.m. RIT will host its annual Skate With the Tigers event following Saturday’s game.
