Fillmore and Belfast came into Thursday’s match even with ten overall wins in the 2018 season. Belfast got on the board with Adam Enders’ unassisted goal in the first half. It almost looked like Belfast was going to take the match, but Fillmore fired back late in the game. Tobias Webb tied the game with an unassisted shot in the 61st minute. With the regulation clock running low, Damon Dioguardi scored the game-winning goal for Fillmore.

Colby Walker and Spencer Cook were the offensive duo for Andover in its 3-0 victory over Hinsdale. Walker scored the first goal of the game unassisted; his next was set up by Cook. Cook scored the third and final goal of the game in the second half, assisted by Walker. Andover remained in possession throughout the match, tallying 25 shots and six corners.

Midlakes earned its second win of the season, both of which are against South Seneca-Romulus. The Midlakes squad scored all five of their goals in the first half. Tristan Gonzalez, Brady Lannon, Ryan Spingler, and Trevor Vanostrand (2) found the back of the net to secure the win.

Penn Yan and Waterloo held a scoreless battle until the 70th minute of play. Penn Yan’s Ralph Clancy penetrated the Waterloo defense for the winning goal.

Wayne (11-1-1/9-1-0) added another game in the ‘W’ column with a 3-1 victory at Mynderse. Cullen Bock kicked the momentum in the Eagles’ direction with a goal in the fourth minute, assisted by Matt Gentile. The two came back for more in the 41st minute and added another tally for Wayne. Gentile scored Wayne’s game-securing goal, set up by Dylan Cook.

Junior Aiden Peterson tallied two goals in Naples sixth league win of the season. Peterson’s first goal at the nine minute mark was followed up with one from Adam Quarterman four minutes later. Alvero Fernandez-Escribano added on one more in the first half to give Naples a 3-0 lead. Peterson’s second goal rounded out the scoring in the 70th minute. Naples took 16 shots to one for HAC took.

Bath-Haverling (13-0-0/7-0-0) moves on with its perfect season, while handing handed Livonia (8-5-0/5-2-0) its second league loss. Austin Stratton, Teddie Robbins, Sam Arnts, and Nick Strong scored a goal apiece. Bath-Haverling (No. 1 NYSSWA Class B) outshot Livonia 14-4 throughout the match.

In the offensively dominant match, Keshequa came through victorious over Perry. Keshequa was the first to strike, as Aidan Wood put the Indians up in the 12th minute. The game quickly became 4-0 with Jacob Schiano, Hudson Vasile, and Riley Rease scoring within six minutes. Immediately following Rease’s goal in the 27th minute, Mason Bush took it the other way to put Perry on the board in the 28th minute. Wood scored once more before the whistle at the half to make the score 5-1. Brock Conaway found the back of the net at the beginning of the second half, in hopes of swaying the momentum back to the Perry squad. However, he was answered with back-to-back Keshequa goals (Vasile and Rease). Perry’s Conaway and Carson DeVinney each netted one to finalize the 7-4 score.

Finney (12-0-0) continues its undefeated record into October with the 8-0 rout of Vertus. Their dangerous offense proved itself once again, spreading the scoring throughout the roster. Scoring for Finney was Jared Mushett, Nolan Mancuso, Conner Torrell (2), Keegan Ocorr, Emmanuel Rubingu, Tommy Jin, and Ian Lau Atencio.

Red Creek fell in non-league action to Byron-Bergen/Elba (10-2, 6-0) Thursday night. Byron-Bergen/Elba showcased its power with a goal in the first minute of play, an unassisted shot from Kyle Foeller. The scoring continued throughout the first with back-to-back goals by Wade Thompson, followed by one from Greyson Huntington. In the 38th minute, Lucas Fernandez cut through the Byron-Bergen/Elba defense and put Red Creek on the board. Foeller and Jerrod Amesbury added on two more in the second.

Gabriel Rosado’s net in the 38th minute was enough to overcome Marcus Whitman. Wheatland-Chili outshot Marcus Whitman 13-5 throughout the match.

Defense triumphed in the first half for both Hornell and Wellsville, as they took a scoreless game into the half. Set up by Braeden Smilinich, Justin Briggs found a hole to give Hornell the lead. Smilinich scored one of his own to secure the victory.

Northstar Christian’s (7-4-0) offense dominated Rochester Academy Charter Thursday night to keep them winless in 2018. Jerry Miller and Joshua Caporaletti scored Northstar’s two goals in the first half. To open up the second half, Ibia Garcia Vazquez, assisted by Daniel Miller, and Josh Pickett, assisted by Tim Hinds, added Northstar’s third and fourth goals within a minute. The last three goals were scored with six minutes by Kevin Anderson, Collin Nasso and Hinds.

Sodus moves to 7-5-1 overall and 5-5 in Wayne County with a 4-1 victory on Gananda’s home turf. The Spartans held a 2-0 lead at the half with shots by Kyle Zerbe and Ryan DeBadts. Picking up where they left off, the Spartans Collin Karasinski set up Will Lamar for a net in the 42nd minute. Seven minutes later, the duo did it again for the Spartans’ fourth and final goal. Gananda’s Matt Gabbard put the Panthers on the board in the 53rd minute.
