How they got here: Belfast shut out Houghton in the quarterfinals 4-0. Avoca started their run in the tournament with a 9-1 win over No. 12 Whitesville and advanced to face Belfast with a 5-1 win against No. 4 Lima Christian.
Season Series: The two teams will face off for the first time this season.
Avoca has won its last four games, including those in the tournament, and Belfast has not lost since Cuba-Rushford beat them 3-2 on September 5.

History 101 – Belfast came up short in the semi-finals last season, losing to Andover 3-0, and Avoca exited the 2016 tournament with a 2-0 loss to eventual-winner CG Finney, also in the semi-finals. Belfast last won a title in 2009 in Class D while Avoca is still seeking its first soccer title.
The two teams will meet at Genesee Valley on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
No. 3 Scio (12-5-0/9-3-0 Allegany League) vs. No. 7 Bradford (10-7-1/4-3-1 Steuben League)
How they got here: Bradford topped No. 10 Friendship 3-1 in the first round of the tournament, before knocking out No. 2 Prattsburgh with a 4-3 win. Scio reached the semi-finals with a 2-1 win against No. 6 Andover.
Season Series: The game will mark the first game between the two teams in the 2017 season.
Bradford and Scio both enter the game on four-game wining streaks.

History 101 – Scio fell to CG Finney in the quarterfinals of last season’s tournament, as did Bradford, who lost 1- to Avoca. Scio’s only soccer title came in 1979 as a member of Class C. Bradford has not won a soccer sectional championship in school history.
The game is set to be played on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Genesee Valley.
