What To Know: The Bombers, ranked No. 13 NYS Class C, sport the player with the third most points in Section V, Tanner Kimball, with 61 points this season. They lost just one home game all season, finishing at 6-1, and last won a sectional championship in 1981 as a part of Class A.
No. 2 seed KESHEQUA (11-5)
Player(s) to watch: Dustyn Zangerle (14 G, 4 A), Damon Rathbun (13 G, 7 A) and Travis Cotton (99 saves, 15 GA, 1.071 GAA)
What To Know: Goalkeeper Travis Cotton finished in the top 20 in Section V for goals against average. They ended the regular season with a 4-0 win over Pavilion. They last won the section title in 2014.
No. 3 seed MARION (10-4-2)
Player(s) to watch: Jackson Taylor (8 G, 7 A) and Reese Holahan (11 A)
What To Know: Reese Holahan finished tied for the sixth-most assists in the section. The Black Knights beat then No. NYS Class C Williamson 4-3 in their final regular season game. They won the Class C2 section title last season.
No. 4 seed BISHOP KEARNEY (10-5-1)
Player(s) to watch: TJ Tytler (9 G), Jordan Freed (8 G, 4 A) and David Tierney (70 saves, 21 GA, 1.288 GAA)
What To Know: The Kings are supported by a seven player senior class, led by Jordan Freed and David Tierney. They went undefeated in Private/Parochial action this season. Their last title came in 2010 when they shared the Class CC title with East Rochester.
No. 5 seed CAMPBELL-SAVONA (10-6-0)
Player(s) to watch: Ethan Park (5 G, 3 A) and Nate Gleason (43 saves)
What To Know: Campbell-Savona ended its regular season schedule with a 1-0 win over Addison. The team’s goalkeepers made a collective 102 saves over the course of the season. Savona won the 1978 sectional title for Class C.
No. 6 seed GENESEO (7-6-3)
Player(s) to watch: Jack Gagnier (13 G) and Matthew Kreher (34 saves, 2 GA, .260 GAA)
What To Know: Matthew Kreher tied for the second-least goals against and had the third-best goals against average in Section V. Geneseo battled Perry and Mount Morris to draws in their final two games. They have won the sectional title five times since 2009.
No. 7 seed PERRY (6-9-1)
Player(s) to watch: Mason Bush (10 G) and Thad Grierson (102 saves, 37 GA, 2.937 GAA)
What To Know: Perry has thrived when keeping games close, with all but one of their wins coming by one goal. Perry is looking for its first sectional title in program history.
No. 8 seed CUBA-RUSHFORD (7-7-1)
Player(s) to watch: Andrew Trufino (9 G)
What To Know: Cuba-Rushford finished the season 4-2. They also will look to win their first section title since Rushford won in Class D in 1987.
No. 9 seed RED CREEK (6-9-1)
Player(s) to watch: Tristan McIntyre (15 G, 6 A) and Dylan Wood (8 G and 4 A)
What To Know: Red Creek, the 2009 Class CC champions, went 4-1-1 in its final six Wayne league games.
No. 10 seed CALEDONIA-MUMFORD (4-11-1)
Player(s) to watch: Brandon Wilson (3 G) and Jacob Burnett (3 G)
What To Know: Caledonia-Mumford defeated Canisteo-Greenwood 6-1 to end the regular season. They have yet to win a section title in soccer.
No. 11 seed SOUTH SENECA-ROMULUS (4-12)
Player(s) to watch: Hunter Hansen (19 G) and Dylan Stiles (6 G, 6 A)
What To Know: Hunter Hansen nearly cracked the Top 20 list for most points in Section V with 42 on the season. The Falcons will attempt to win their first soccer sectional championship.
No. 12 seed PAVILION/YORK (1-13-2)
Player(s) to watch: Caleb Swearingen (90 saves, 20 GA, 1.918 GAA)
What To Know: Pavilion/York, who won the 2007 Class C title, picked up its lone win against Lima Christian, a 2-1 victory.
