MILWAUKEE, WI- Orlando Arcia tied the game at two with a ninth inning solo shot off Wade Davis, Davis’s first blown save of the season. The Cubs added a run in the top of the 10th, but Travis Shaw delivered on a walk-off two ru homer for Milwaukee in the bottom half. With the win, Milwaukee stays alive in the hunt for the second NL Wild Card berth.

TORONTO, CANADA- The Yankees clinched a playoff spot on Saturday behind a six-inning, one-run outing from Sonny Gray. Greg Bird and Todd Frazier both homered for New York as they moved to 18 games over .500. They did not gain a game on the Red Sox as they were victorious as well.

SEATTLE, WA- The Cleveland offense exploded on Saturday, scoring 11 runs and hitting four homers. Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez each homered while Yan Gomez homered twice. Gomes and Ramirez each had four RBI. Nelson Cruz homered for Seattle, his 37th of the year.

CINCINNATI, OH- Eduardo Rodriguez threw hit best start of the year, posting seven shutout innings with six strikeouts. Mitch Moreland went 2-5 with a three-run homer. The Red Sox remain four games up on the Yankees for the AL East Division lead.

DETROIT, MI- Ervin Santana pitched seven strong innings, allowing three runs over seven innings. Zach Granite homered for the first time in his career, a pinch-hit three-run shot in the eighth inning. Efren Navarro homered twice for Detroit. With the win, the Twins go up 4.5 games over the Rangers/Angels and Royals for the second AL Wild Card spot.

BALTIMORE, MD- Jake Odorizzi pitched six effective innings, giving up one run (unearned) and punching out nine. Lucas Duda and Logan Morrison each homered for Tampa Bay. The Orioles put up five runs in the ninth but it wasn’t enough as Alex Colome came in to record his 46th save of the season.

PITTSBURGH, PA- The Pirates jumped on Lance Lynn early, putting up eight runs in the first inning, and did so without any home runs. Jordy Mercer and Gregory Polanco each had three hits for the Pirates as Gerrit Cole picked up his 12th win on the season. Tommy Pham went 2-4 for the Cardinals with a double and home run.

QUEENS, NY- Noah Syndergaard made his return to the Mets but only threw one inning as scheduled, which he threw scoreless. Adam Lind and Matt Wieters homered for Washington as they took the game to extras. Daniel Murphy hit the go-ahead solo homer in the 10th and Sean Doolittle closed out the bottom half as Washington took the game.

CHICAGO, IL- Danny Duffy threw six innings of two run ball in his second start back from the DL to record a quality start. Salvador Perez went 2-4 with two RBI doubles and Alex Gordon hit his ninth home run of the year. Whit Merrifield had three RBIs as well.

ATLANTA, GA- Julio Teheran threw seven innings of two run ball (one earned) with five strikeouts to record the quality start. Rio Ruiz hit his fourth home run of the year while Dansby Swanson went 2-4 with an RBI. Rhys Hoskins hit an RBI double for the Phillies, his 46th RBI in the first 43 games of his career.

SAN DIEGO, CA- Jhoulys Chacin threw six scoreless innings as the Padres shutout Colorado on Saturday. Austin Hedges went 3-3 for San Diego with a double and run scored. With the loss, Colorado is now only one game up on Milwaukee for the second NL Wild Card berth

LOS ANGELES, CA- Madison Bumgarner pitched seven and two-thirds innings of one run ball to help the Giants over LA. Denard Span and Gorkys Hernandez each had three hits for San Francisco. Austin Barnes provided the lone run for LA with an eighth inning solo shot.
