ATLANTA – Danny Santana and Tyler Flowers each hit a home run and drove in two runs for the Braves, who snapped a six-game losing streak. Julio Teheran allowed three earned runs on four hits and struck out four in five innings pitched, but Rex Brothers earned the victory in relief for the Braves.

CHICAGO – Zack Godley set down five on strikes in six scoreless innings for the Diamondbacks, who won for the first time in three games. Jake Lamb drove in all three runs for the Arizona, by hitting two doubles. Jake Arrieta punched out eight on strikes and gave up one earned runs on three hits in seven innings pitched for the Cubs.

HOUSTON – Austin Pruitt went 5.1 scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out three as the Rays have won three out of their last four. Logan Morrison put Tampa Bay on the board early with a two-run home run in the first inning. Dallas Keuchel shouldered his first loss of the season giving up three earned on seven hits in five innings pitched for the Astros.

BALTIMORE – Jeremy Hellickson picked up his first victory of the season striking out three and giving up five hits in seven scoreless innings for the Orioles. Tim Beckham went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI. Caleb Joseph launched a two-run home run in the second inning for Baltimore.

PITTSBURGH – Adam Duvall smacked a two-run home run in the ninth inning to seal the the Reds third straight win. Robert Stephenson allowed one earned run on two hits and struck out four in 5.2 innings pitched for Cincinnati. Trevor Williams fanned six and gave up two earned runs on six hits in 5.1 innings pitched for the Pirates.

MIAMI – Vance Worley set down three on strikes and gave up two hits in seven scoreless innings pitched for the Marlins, who have won six out of their last eight games. Christian Yelich smacked a home run, doubled and drove in two runs for Miami.

MILWAUKEE – Luke Weaver struck out eight and allowed two earned runs on five hits in 6.1 innings pitched, and the Cardinals won for the sixth time in nine games. Yadier Molina went 3-for-4 with a double and launched two solo shots to drive in two runs for St. Louis. Brent Suter set down seven on strikes and gave up five earned on eight hits in 5.1 innings pitched for the Brewers.

TEXAS – Andrew Cashner allowed one earned on six hits and fanned four in six innings pitched as the Rangers snapped a four-game losing skid. Elvis Andrus, Delino DeShields and Joey Gallo each launched home runs for Texas. Ariel Miranda surrendered three home runs and gave up four earned runs on seven hits in 5.2 innings pitched for the Mariners.

CHICAGO – J.A. Happ punched out 10 on strikes and surrendered one earned run on six hits in seven innings pitched for the Blue Jays, who have won three out of their last four games. Steve Pearce and Josh Donaldson each launched solo shots for Toronto. Derek Holland allowed two earned runs on five in six innings pitched for the White Sox.

COLOARDO – Chris Flexen lasted three innings, allowing five earned runs on eight hits for the Mets, who ended a three game losing skid. Jay Bruce and Curtis Granderson each launched a home run and combined to drive in four runs for New York. OAKLAND – Daniel Gossett set down five on strikes and allowed one earned run on three hits in seven innings pitched as the Athletics have won four out of their last five games. Ryon Healy went 2-for-4 with a home run and drove in two RBI for Oakland. Matt Moore gave up four earned on six hits and set down four on strikes in five innings pitched for the Giants.
