SYRACUSE — Tim Gorton went 5-for-5 with three RBI, Alexander Ferlenda finished with three hits, and the Salt Cats held on to beat their rivals to close out the regular season. Thomas Beliveau tossed five innings allowing one run on three hits. The right-hander set down five on strikes and picked up his second win of the season. Cody Barnes pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the save. Chris Schad finished with two hits for the Spartans.

CORTLAND — Ethan Moore went 2-for-4 including a solo home run in the second as the Crush won their third straight. Josh Reuter finished with two hits. Will Ginsberg tossed five innings allowing one run on six hits. The left-hander fanned two and picked up his fourth win of the season. Nicholas Wydler, Kingsley Ballao, and Vincent Timpanelli each finished with two hits apiece for the Silversmiths.

WELLSVILLE — Gunner Becker went 2-for-5 including a run-scoring double in the seventh as the Oilers tacked on five runs that inning to win their fourth straight. Isaac Porter jump-started the Oilers offense in the first with a two-out grand slam. Bradley Walter went five innings allowing three runs on six hits. The right-hander set down three on strikes and picked up the win.

HORNELL — Andrew Bayard finished with two hits including a triple in the third that plated two as the Ridgemen won their second straight to close the regular season. Tanner Pruett went seven and a third innings allowing three runs on seven hits. The left-hander fanned three and picked up his second win of the season. Ethan Harrison, Jack Brett, and Max Werner each finished with two hits apiece for the Dodgers.
