ROME — Matthew Russell tossed eight scoreless innings allowing two hits, and the Generals won their third straight game. The right-hander set down twelve on strikes and picked up his fifth win of the season. Brian Donnelly connected on a single in the second that plated Connor Smith to jumpstart the Generals offense. Christian Aybar finished with four hits for the Generals.
