On a day filled with outstanding offensive performances, the Houston Astros tied their franchise record for the most runs scored in a single game. They put up 19 runs against the Toronto Blue Jays.

TORONTO- With their 60th win of the season, the Houston Astros join the Los Angeles Dodgers as the first pair of teams to win 60 games before the All-Star break since 1969. The Astros three All-Star starters—George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa—combined to go 9-for-13 with three home runs, eight RBI and nine runs.

TAMPA BAY- Red Sox reliever Joe Kelly entered the game with a league-leading 22 and two-thirds innings scoreless streak. CHICAGO- The Pirates erupted to score 10 runs in the first inning off Cubs ace Jon Lester (5-6). Francisco Cervelli ripped a grand slam to blow open the game. Andrew McCutchen and Josh Harrison both homered in the win.

WASHINGTON D.C.- Each starter reached base at least once for the Nationals as they stretched their lead in the National League East Division to nine-and-a-half games over Atlanta. Four pitchers combined to shut out the Braves in the last three innings and seal the win.

PHILADELPHIA- Two of the bottom three teams in the MLB met on Sunday afternoon. Despite having the worst record in the league, the Phillies jumped out to an early lead that they did not surrender. Starter Jerad Eickhoff (1-7) won his first game of the season throwing five innings of shutout ball with eight strikeouts. Freddy Galvis went 2-for-4 with two home runs in the win.

MINNEAPOLIS- Adams Jones hit two home runs and drove in five runs for Baltimore as the Orioles won their second straight game after losing seven of their previous eight. The Baltimore bullpen pitched four innings of one-hit ball to secure the victory over the Twins.

SAN FRANCISCO- A.J. Ellis and Giancarlo Stanton both homered in the top of the 11th inning to give the Marlins a win they did not surrender. Christian Yelich and Justin Bour combined to go 4-for-10 with three doubles, three RBI and three runs to add to Miami’s win.

PHOENIX- Homer Bailey (2-2) came out on top in a pitcher’s duel allowing just one run while pitching into the seventh. Scott Schebler hit the go-ahead double to break a one-to-one tie in the top of the sixth. Patrick Corbin (6-9) struck out nine batters in six innings in the loss.

CLEVELAND- The Tigers took advantage of Cleveland’s bullpen after chasing Corey Kluber out of the game after the fifth inning. Alex Presley had two hits and drove in two for Detroit, which finishes under .500 at the All-Star break for the first time in 11 years. Michael Fulmer (9-6) earned the win by limiting the Indians to two earned runs in six innings pitched.
