GLENS FALLS, NY– Sophomore Clay Koniencki (Monmouth University) drove in two runs in the DiamondDawgs game one win. Junior Joe DeSarro (Southern New Hampshire University) pitched eight innings for the DiamondDawgs, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out four. Sophomore James Varela (LIU Post) also threw eight innings, fanning seven and giving up three runs on seven hits and one walk for the Dragons.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Junior Jack Fossand (Dartmouth University) held the Dragons to one run on three hits and one walk, setting down six by strikeout to give the DiamondDawgs the sweep. Sophomore Brandon Budlong (Johnson & Wales (RI)) punched out seven batters in five innings, allowing two unearned runs, three hits and four walks.

AMSTERDAM MOHAWKS (22-7) 9
AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshman Anthony Gonnella (University of South Florida) hit a three-run home run, helping the Mohawks to a fourth straight win. Sophomore Thomas Lane (Boston College) struck out six over four-and-two-thirds scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks.

ONONDAGA FLAMES (12-15) 3
SYRACUSE, NY– Senior Peng-Wei Wang (Vanung University) pitched seven innings, giving up two runs on five hits and striking out four, handing the Flames a ninth straight loss. Junior Kyle Gallahger (Cornell University) knocked in two runs for the Flames. Freshman Ryan Marketell (Monroe Community College/Webster Thomas) tossed one hitless, scoreless inning in relief for the Flames, striking out two.

JAMESTOWN JAMMERS (25-5) 12
JAMESTOWN, NY– Junior Skyler Valentine (UTSA) led the Jammers with three RBI, putting the winning streak at 11 straight games. Sophomore Chris Valimont (Mercyhurst University) punched out nine in six innings, allowing two runs on five hits for the Jammers. Sophomore John Michael Boswell (Furman University) brought home two runs on two hits for the Trail Blazers. Sophomore Zac Bygum threw four innings with no hits or runs allowed for the Trail Blazers, walking three and striking out two.

ELMIRA, NY– Sophomore Joseph Preziuso (Canisius College) drove in two runs for the Pioneers, who won a second consecutive game. Freshman Conor Grammes (Xavier University) earned the save for the Pioneers, keeping the Red Wings to three walks and fanning three. Incoming freshman Ben Terwillinger (Maine University) lasted five innings in his start for the Red Wings, punching out nine and letting up two runs on four hits and two walks.
