WELLSVILLE — Kevin Higgins went 3-for-4 including a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth, and the Nitros kept pace in the Western Division. Christopher Testa finished with three hits including a single that drove in Dominic Cecere in a six-run Nitros second. Cecere also finished with three hits including a double in the frame that brought in Ryan Grieco. Kirby McMullen finished with three hits for the Oilers including a two-run double in the first.

CORTLAND — Edison Mercado went 4-for-5 with four RBI including a three-run home run in the first. Chris Schad homered in the eleventh, and the Spartans moved into a tie with Cortland in the Eastern Division. Reliever Richard Marshall Jr. tossed three scoreless innings allowing two hits. The right-hander fanned three to pick up his third win of the season.
