NEWARK, NY– Junior Ben Brookover (University of Texas-San Antonio) went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored as the Jammers claimed game one. Jamestown’s sophomore Quinn Taylor (Felician College) pitched four innings, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks with two to earn the win. Jamestown’s sophomore Colin Johnston (Monroe Community College/Greece Athena) retired the final batter of the game, earning the save. Freshman Peter Battaglia (Niagara University) and sophomore Jonathan Parker (Jones County Junior College) combined for five hits and five RBI for the Pilots.

NEWARK, NY– Junior Jimmy Standohar (Mercyhurst University) had four hits in four at bats with two RBI and three runs scored in the Jammers’ fifth straight win. Freshman Casey Vincent (St. Bonaventure University) got the win for the Jammers, throwing one-and-two-thirds and giving up two unearned runs on one hit and one walk, striking out three. Sophomore Colin Johnston (Monroe Community College/Greece Athena) provided the Jammers with two innings of relief, letting up one run on two hits and two walks with one strikeout.

AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshman Eric Rivera (Florida Atlantic University) hit a two-run, walk-off home run to give the Mohawks an 11th straight win. Sophomore Thomas Lane (Boston College) held the Outlaws to one run, three hits and four walks, fanning four in his start for the Mohawks. Sophomore Ben Brundage (USC Upstate) knocked in two runs on two hits for the Outlaws. Oneonta’s sophomore Andrew Workman (Quinnipiac University) tossed three innings in relief, giving up two runs on two hits and one walk, striking out three.

GENEVA, NY– Sophomore Marshall Gilbert (John A. Logan College) went 5-for-6 with eight RBI as the Pioneers have now won three consecutive games. Freshman Zach Eggers (Old Dominion University) started for the Pioneers, going four innings and surrendering three runs, six hits and two walks, punching four to get the win. Sophomore Joseph Tassin (Bossier Parish Community College) brought home two with two hits, while redshirt sophomore William Hampson (Southwest Tennessee Community College/Victor) went 1-for-4, for the Red Wings.

SAUGERTIES STALLIONS (12-9) 11
SAUGERTIES, NY– Junior Nick Campana (University of Hartford) scored the game-winning run on an error in right field in the Stallions’ walk-off, and second straight, win. Sophomore Sam Russo (Butler University) produced three RBI and two hits for the Stallions. Freshman Mark Meyer (Marshall University) made the start on the mound for the Stallions, fanning seven and keeping the Dutchmen to two runs, four hits and one walk over six innings. Albany’s junior Justin Childers (Ohio Dominican University) knocked in four runs with a sacrifice fly out and a three-run double.
