NEWARK, NY– Nick Caregnato (N.C. Central) picked up the win hurling a scoreless inning out of the bullpen Zach Vennaro (Mount Olive/Monroe CC) worked an inning and a third for the save. Alexis Monge-Rodriguez (Barry College) and Tim Zeng (Fairfield) scored two runs apiece for Mohawk Valley. Sophomore Mark McKenna (Canisius College) drove in two runs for the Newark. Junior Adam Donovan (DeSales University) threw five innings for the Pilots, allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks while striking out two.

NEWARK, NY– Sophomores Clay Koniencki (Monmouth University) and Russ Olive (University of Massachusetts-Lowell) drove in four runs a piece for the DiamondDawgs, who have won six straight. Junior Joe DeSarro (Southern New Hampshire University) fanned eight and surrendered three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks. Sophomore Hunter Wells (Tyler Junior College) went 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Pilots. Sophomore Chris Vitale (Erie Community College) gave up five runs (three earned) on four hits and two walks, punching out three in five innings.

UTICA, NY– Freshman Andrew Orzel (Wofford College) went 3-for-5 with three RBI for the Pioneers, who handed the Blue Sox an eighth straight loss. Redshirt freshman Parker Ford (Mississippi State) pitched four innings, giving up five runs (three earned) on six hits and one walk, striking out two. Sophomores Cole Pursell (Willamette University) and Devon Garcia (Ohio University) each knocked in two runs for the Blue Sox. Freshman Louie Varland (Concordia University-St. Paul) tossed five innings and let up three runs (two earned) on seven hits and four walks with four strikeouts.

SYRACUSE, NY– Freshman Chris Stefl (St. John’s University) collected three RBI in his only at bat of the game, leading the Jammers to a third straight win. Junior Nate Grant (St. Bonaventure University) allowed three runs on four hits and five walks, fanning six over five-and-third innings. Sophomore Emmett Dunn (St. Lawrence College) gave up seven runs (two earned), five hits and four walks, setting down three by strikeout in three innings.

SAUGERTIES, NY– Incoming freshman Tyler Kelder (St. Bonaventure University) drove in three on two hits to help the Stallions snap a four-game skid. Incoming freshman Avery Short (Siena College) lasted five innings, letting up four runs on six hits and one walk, punching out three. Freshman Will Van Beusekom (Marist College) left after four innings, having allowed four runs on four hits and four walks with two strikeouts.

ONEONTA, NY– Freshman Brad Gneiting (Rice University) had three hits and two RBI for the Dutchmen, who have won back-to-back games. Sophomore Tommy Miller (Siena College) exited after four-and-two-thirds innings, letting up four runs, two hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Sophomore Brandon Brundage (USC Upstate) contributed two RBI for the Outlaws. Sophomore Cal Lawrence (Binghamton) surrendered four runs (three earned) on 10 hits and one walk with two strikeouts.
