LITTLE FALLS, NY– Freshman TJ Collett (University of Kentucky) clubbed a two-run home run for the Mohawks, helping them win the first game of the doubleheader. Freshman Ben Anderson (University of Binghamton) pitched four innings and allowed three (two earned) on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts. Mohawk Valley’s Jack Fossand (Dartmouth College) threw five innings, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks, striking out five.

LITTLE FALLS, NY– Junior John Valente (St. John’s University) drove in two runs on two hits to secure the doubleheader sweep. Freshman Mathieu Gauthier (North Carolina State) tossed six scoreless innings, letting up one hit and two walks, fanning five. Junior Crandall Poore (Middle Georgia State) lasted five innings with three runs (one earned), four hits and two walks surrendered, having struck out five batters.

ALBANY, NY– Sophomore Chase Allen (Limestone College) hit a three-run home run in the Dutchmen’s ninth win in ten games. Freshman Matt Pierce (Siena College) gave the Dutchmen six scoreless innings, giving up seven hits and striking out two. Freshman Will Van Beusekom (Marist College) exited after letting up five runs (three earned) on four hits and six walks, plus five strikeouts, in four-and-two-thirds innings.

ONEONTA, NY– Freshman Ben Rhodes (Siena College) went 3-for-4 with three RBI and three runs scored to hand the Pioneers a fourth straight loss. Sophomore Nathan Wrighter (Bryant University) ate up seven innings for the Outlaws, allowing five runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk, with three strikeouts. Sophomore Grant Donahue (University of Virginia) surrendered three runs (two earned) on three hits and six walks, punching out four, over five-and-two-thirds.

GENEVA, NY– Sophomore Joseph Tassin (Bossier Parish Community College) knocked in two runs on two hits, leading to the win and bringing the Red Wings within two games of the first-place Jammers in the West Division. Junior Alex Bellardini (Y0ungstown State) held the Jammers offense to two runs, on nine hits and two walks, striking out four in eight innings. Sophomore David Lyskawa (Niagara Community College) left after five-and-two-thirds, surrendering three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts.
