PGCBL Roundup: Pilots walk off

NEWARK PILOTS (3-9) 4   in 10
NEWARK, NY– Freshman Over Torres (Yavapai College) scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th after junior Colton Carney (Seton Hill University) was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, helping the Pilots hand the Red Wings a second straight loss. Senior Peng-Wei Wang (Vanung University) pitched seven innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits with four strikeouts. Sophomore William Hampson (Southwest Tennessee Community College/Victor) contributed a base hit as a pinch hitter for the Red Wings. Freshman Jared Kacso (NJIT) started the game for the Red Wings, tossing six innings with one run and four hits let up. Sophomore Andy Reed (Elmira College/Fairport) came in as a reliever for the Red Wings, throwing one scoreless, hitless inning.
