CORTLAND — Tyler Schmidt finished 3-for-4 including a single in the seventh that plated two as the Crush won for the third time in their last five games. Kyle Bouchard went 2-for-4 including a two-run double in the fifth as the Crush tacked on four more. Jesse Sustachek tossed seven innings surrendering one run on seven hits with seven strikeouts for the win. The Crush moved within a game of Sherrill for the top spot in the Eastern Division.

GENESEE — Bo Gilligan went five innings allowing no runs on one hit as the Rapids took down the Eastern Division leaders. Grant Myers and Andrew Schutt each plated three apiece. Schutt got the Rapids offense going in the third with a two-run home run. The Rapids were able to do most of their damage in the second and third inning as they scored five runs in both innings.
