SYRACUSE, NY– Sophomore Joseph Tassin (Bossier Parish Community College) drove in two runs on two hits for the Red Wings, who remain one of the top teams thus far with six wins. Freshman Slater O’Brien (Saint Joseph’s (Pa.)) threw five scoreless innings for the Red Wings, allowing two hits and one walk, while striking out seven. Sophomore Brian Nolan (Oswego State) went four-and-one-third innings with two runs (one earned), on five hits and four walks with eight strikeouts.

NEWARK, NY– Incoming freshman Allbry Major (Xavier University) went 3-for-5 with three RBI to help the Pioneers hand the Pilots a seventh loss. Freshman Houston Roth (Ole Miss) tossed five innings and let up one unearned run on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Freshmn Adam Klos (Viterbo University) left after two-and-two-third innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on nine hits and one walk, striking out one.

ALBANY, NY– Freshman Brad Gneiting (Rice University) scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the Dutchmen the walk-off win and dropping the Trail Blazers to .500. Sophomore Jack Grabek (Bucknell University) provided five innings of two runs (one earned on four hits and five walks allowed, but struck out four. Freshman Mike Delease (Central Connecticut State) gave up four runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks, striking out five over seven innings of work.

UTICA, NY– Junior Alex O’Donnell (Mercyhurst University) knocked home five RBI with two hits to help the Jammers stay in first place. Sophomore Colin Johnston (Monroe Community College/Greece Athena) pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the Jammers, giving up one hit and one walk with a strikeout, earning the win. Sophomore Dylan Leahy (Keystone University) threw five-and-two-thirds and gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and six walks with two strikeouts.

LITTLE FALLS, NY– Junior Austin Pollack (Hofstra University) hit a bases-loaded, walk-off single for the DiamondDawgs, keeping the team near the top of the league standings. Sophomore Tyler Ksiazek (Monmouth University) tossed six innings and let up four runs (three earned) on five hits and two walks, fanning seven hitters. Junior Brandon Torres (SUNY Oneonta) had two hits and two RBI for the Dragons. Freshman Will Van Beusekom (Marist University) pitched three innings of three runs, three hits and three walks allowed, striking out one.

SAUGERTIES, NY– Freshman Andrew Saalfrank (Indiana University) struck out six batters and allowed two runs on three hits and one walk in six innings to drop the Stallions below .500. Sophomore Matt Feinstein (Dartmouth College) drove in three runs on three hits for the Stallions. Redshirt freshman Nick Alvarado (Illinois State) lasted one-and-one-third innings and let up one run on three walks, striking out one.
