JAMESTOWN, NY– Junior Chris Estrada (University of Texas-San Antonio) drove in three runs on two hits to help the Jammers to a second straight win. Sophomore Bradley Griggs (University of Texas-San Antonio) tossed seven scoreless innings, striking out seven and allowing four hits and one walk. Freshman Kyle Griffen (Louisiana Tech) lasted four-and-two-thirds innings for the Pilots, giving up six runs (four earned) on nine hits and two walks, while striking out two.3-3

ALBANY, NY– Junior Kyle Cashman (Pace University) went seven innings for the Trail Blazers, letting up one run on six hits and two walks with one strikeout. Freshmen Thomas Spinelli (Ole Miss) and Nick Bruno (Siena College) combined to no-hit the Trail Blazers over six-and-one-third scoreless innings, walking nine and striking out eight.

AMSTERDAM, NY– Freshman Brenden Coffey (Sacred Heart University) delivered a bases-loaded, walk-off single in the ninth inning as the Mohawks rebounded from their only loss of the season. Freshman Brandon Reitz (Florida State University) threw five innings and gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks with seven strikeouts. Freshman Jake Lyle (Volunteer State Community College) hit a two-run home run for the Red Wings. Freshman Jared Kacso (NJIT) also pitched five innings, letting up four runs on six hits and four walks with two strikeouts.

GLENS FALLS, NY– Junior Dan Lowndes (Siena College) sent the Dragons’ fans home happy with a walk-off single in the 11th inning, keeping the Outlaws winless thus far. Sophomore James Varela (Long Island University-Post) hurled seven innings and surrendered three runs (two earned) on four hits and one walk, striking out three. Junior Cal Lawrence (Binghamton University) provided six innings and giving up two runs (none earned) on three hits and two walks.

ELMIRA, NY– Freshmen Bryan Seamster (Ole Miss University) and Andrew Orzel (Wofford College) each plated two runs as the Pioneers tied the Jammers for most wins in the PGCBL so far this season. Redshirt sophomore Jake Hamilton (Kentucky University) threw six innings for the Pioneers, allowing three runs (two earned), six hits and five walks while striking out five. Freshman Justin Beyer (Niagara County Community College) made it five innings, letting up six runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts.

SAUGERTIES, NY– Redshirt sophomore Andrew Taft (University at Buffalo) went 3-for-5 with three RBI as the Stallions returned to .500. Sophomore Matt Jones (Manhattan College) ate up three innings in his start, surrendering two runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Redshirt junior Taylor Olmstead (Southern New Hampshire University) and freshman Zane Harris (Wright State University) had two RBI each for the Blue Sox. Incoming freshman Garrett Keough (Holy Cross University) left after four innings and three runs (two earned), four hits and three walks also striking out one.
