The No. 1 seed Avon Braves will do battle with No. 5 seeded Bolivar-Richburg while the No. 2 seed East Rochester Bombers take on No. 3 seed Campbell-Savona to earn a chance to play for the C2 title.

AVON- Maxx Countryman (.304, 6 doubles, 2 HR, 15 RBI, 5-2 record, 2.42 ERA, 40K, 12 BB), Padraig Coyne (4-0 record- 23 K 5 BB .86 ERA), Aaron Ghent (.433, 9 doubles, 1 HR, 11 RBI) and Peyton Parmeter (.500, 13 doubles, 1 HR 24 RBI).
BOLIVAR-RICHBURG- Lewis Pettit (.400), Dustin Howard (.371), Joe Gordon (3-1 with a 2.80 ERA), Kristian Miller (.373) and Parker Cole (3-2 with a 2.31 ERA).
How they got here: Avon beat No. 16 seed Bishop Kearney, 9-2, in the first round, followed by a win over No. 8 seed Lyons, 7-5, in the qurterfinals. Bolivar-Richburg held on 8-5 against No. 12 seed South Seneca to open the tournament, then defeated No. 4 seed Keshequa, 8-1, to move on to the semifinals.
Last meeting: Avon and Bolivar-Richburg met in last season’s Class C state qualifier, which Avon won 4-3 to advance to the Far West Regional. Bolivar-Richburg won the C2 title a year ago while Avon won the title for C1 and went on to play in the Class C State Championship game, eventually losing to North Salem 11-8.
Trends: Avon, ranked 12th in the state for Class C, has won three straight and will look to win a second straight title, having moved to Class C2 from C1 this season. Bolivar-Richburg has won its last two and will seek its second consecutive Class C2 title.

EAST ROCHESTER- Dmitri Georgantonis (.327, 17 runs), Andrew Chilleli (.348, 13 RBI) and Austin Mack (.345, 19 hits, 3 wins, 1.72 ERA).
CAMPBELL-SAVONA- Brent Smith (.400, 16 hits), Patrick Dobson (.300, 10 runs) and Quinn Littell (0.19 ERA).
How they got here: East Rochester started the tournament with a win over No. 15 seed Warsaw, 5-3, and defeated No. 7 seed Red Jacket, 8-5, in the qurterfinals. Campbell-Savona won its first round match-up against Cuba-Rushford, 5-1, then beat No. 6 seed Alexander, 15-2, to earn a spot in the semifinals.
Last meeting: This will be the first meeting this season between the two teams.
Trends: East Rochester, seeking its first title since the 2012 CCC championship, brings in a six-game winning streak. Campbell-Savona, ranked 17th in the state for Class C, has won its last two games and will look to win its first title since the 1992 Class crown.
