NBA Playoffs: Cavs trounce C’s to take Game 1

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 117 BOSTON CELTICS 104 (CLE LEADS 1-0)

BOSTON – LeBron James took charge and led the Cavs with 38 points, nine rebounds and seven assists to the victory in front of a pumped up Celtics fanbase. Kevin Love added 32 points and 11 rebounds. Tristan Thompson provided 20 points and nine rebounds.

Cleveland outscored Boston 61-39 in the first half, as Boston was held to just 35 percent shooting from the field.

Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder scored 21 points apiece for the Celtics. Isaiah Thomas had 17 points and 10 assists.
