Rockets move on to second round

Houston Rockets 105  Oklahoma City Thunder 99 (HOU wins series 4-1)

HOUSTON – James Harden recorded 34 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks as the Rockets are headed to the second round. Lou Williams added 22 bench points and grabbed five rebounds.

Russell Westbrook dropped 47 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and handed out nine assists for the Thunder.

With 5:22 left in regulation Westbrook knocked down a pair of free throws to bring the Thunder within three at 93-90. The Rockets played stellar defense and went on a 8-2 run to put them up 102-92. The Thunder would pull back within four, but Harden sank two free throws with 4.6 seconds left to seal the series.

San Antonio Spurs 116  Memphis Grizzlies 103 (SPURS lead series 3-2)

SAN ANTONIO – Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points and dished out six assists as the Spurs will look to close out the series in Memphis. LaMarcus Aldridge netted 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Mike Conley registered 26 points, six assists and four steals for the Grizzlies.

Utah Jazz 96  Los Angeles Clippers (UTAH lead series 3-2)

LOS ANGELES – Gordon Hayward netted 27 points, collected eight rebounds, dished out four assists and took away two steals as the Jazz will look to close out the series at home. Rudy Gobert added a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Paul (28) and JJ Redick (26) combined for 54 points for the Clippers. Paul added nine assists and four rebounds.
