BALTIMORE, MD– Chase Whitley picked up the win as a quintet of Rays pitchers held the Orioles scoreless. Wade Miley threw seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits and six walks, but struck out eight for the Orioles.

CLEVELAND, OH– Josh Reddick and Norichika Aoki combined for five hits and all four RBI in the Astros’ win. Dallas Keuchel gave the Astros a complete game, giving up two runs on six hits and three walks. Austin Jackson and Michael Brantley each hit a solo home run for the Indians. Josh Tomlin started for the Indians, going six innings and allowing three runs on eight hits.

PITTSBURGH, PA– Kyle Hendricks gave the Cubs six shutout innings, with four hits and two walks to his credit. Gerrit Cole lasted seven innings with one run (unearned) on two hits with eight strikeouts.

DETROIT, MI– Tyler Collins went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored as the Tigers piled on the runs to beat the Mariners. Jordan Zimmerman struggled for the Tigers in the start, going six innings and surrendering five runs and 11 hits. Nelson Cruz drove in three runs on three hits for the Mariners. Felix Hernandez, Chris Heston and Evan Marshall combined to allow 16 runs over the first six innings for the Mariners.

MILWAUKEE, WI– Hernan Perez picked up three hits and three RBI for the Brewers in the win against the Reds. Zach Davies went five scoreless innings for the Brewers, allowing six hits and one walk. Scott Feldman started for the Reds, making it five innings allowing four runs on five hits and five walks.

ARLINGTON, TX– Miguel Sano‘s three hits and two RBI fueled the Twins to a win against the Rangers. Ervin Santana gave up one run, four hits and two walks in seven innings for the Twins. The lone run for the Rangers came on a seventh inning home run for Joey Gallo. In four innings, Andrew Cashner let up two runs on five hits and six walks.

CHICAGO, IL– Todd Frazier plated three runs for the White Sox to help in the win over the Royals. Dylan Covey tossed four innings in his start, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks. Brandon Moss and Mike Moustakas each hit a home run in the ninth as the Royals attempted a rally. Danny Duffy went four-and-two-thirds innings for the Royals, surrendering six runs on nine hits and two walks.

ST. LOUIS, MO– A throwing error in the 11th inning allowed Marcus Stroman, who had pinch hit and doubled, to score the eventual game-winning run for the Blue Jays. Marco Estrada had the mound to start for the Blue Jays, going six innings and letting up two runs on six hits and one walk with nine strikeouts. Jose Martinez contributed a two-run home run in the seventh inning for the Cardinals. Michael Wacha gave the Cardinals six innings of two-run, five-hit and one-walk ball.

PHOENIX, AZ– Paul Goldschmidt went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI as the Diamondbacks handled the Padres for the win. Patrick Corbin surrendered two runs on eight hits and two walks, but struck out nine, in seven innings of work. Yangervis Solarte had an RBI and three hits for the Padres. Clayton Richard left after three-and-two-thirds innings and six runs, eight hits and three walks allowed.

DENVER, CO– Trea Turner finished 4-for-6 with seven RBI and four runs scored as the Nationals battled for the win against the Rockies. Joe Ross started for the Nationals and gave them four-and-two-thirds innings with five runs, seven hits and two walks allowed. Charlie Blackmon added three hits and three RBI for the Rockies. German Marquez was knocked out after four innings of work, having given up eight runs on nine hits and three walks.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA– Clayton Kershaw held the Giants to one run on six hits and one walk, striking out seven in seven innings to help give the Dodgers the win. Ty Blach threw five innings for the Giants, being credited with two runs, four hits and one walk allowed.

ANAHEIM, CA– After each team scored in the 10th inning, Kole Calhoun hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th to give the Angels the win. J.C. Ramirez struck out seven, allowed two hits and walked two over seven scoreless innings for the Angels. Josh Phegley hit a pinch hit home run to give the A’s a run. Jesse Hahn picked up one hit and two walks let up in his eight innings of scoreless work.
