NBA Roundup: Lopez carries Nets. Cavs top Pacers in 2OT thriller, and the Spurs tune down the Jazz

BROOKLYN NETS 91 ATLANTA HAWKS 82

NEW YORK – Brook Lopez carried the Nets (18-59) to their sixth win in the last 10 games with 29 points, five rebounds, five assists and five blocks. Jeremy Lin added 15 points and six assists.

Brooklyn outrebounded Atlanta 51-44.

Dennis Schroder had 16 points and eight assists for the Hawks (39-38). Dwight Howard posted 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Atlanta has dropped eight of their last 10 games.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 135 INDIANA PACERS 130 (2OT)

CLEVELAND – LeBron James notched a triple-double with 41 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists for the Cavs (49-27). Kyrie Irving added 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Kevin Love dropped 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Paul George exploded for 43 points for the Pacers (37-40).

SAN ANTONIO SPURS 109 UTAH JAZZ 103

SAN ANTONIO – Kawhi Leonard paced the Spurs (59-17) with 25 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Tony Parker showed his vintage form and had 21 points, five assists and four rebounds. Pau Gasol added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Boris Diaw and Rudy Gobert each scored 19 apiece for the Jazz (47-30). Gobert also grabbed 14 rebounds.

BOSTON CELTICS 110 NEW YORK KNICKS 94

NEW YORK – Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics (50-27) to victory in the Big Apple with 19 points and six assists. Al Horford added 14 points and seven rebounds. Courtney Lee had 16 points for the Knicks (29-48).

CHARLOTTE HORNETS 113 OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER 101

OKLAHOMA CITY – Kemba Walker cashed in 29 points to go along with four assists and four steals for the Hornets (36-41). Russell Westbrook put up his 40th triple-double of the season – 40 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the Thunder (43-33). Westbrook is one triple-double behind Oscar Robertson for his NBA record of 41 triple-doubles in a season.

LOS ANGELES LAKERS 108 MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 103

LOS ANGELES – D’Angelo Russell dropped 28 points, secured six rebounds and dished out five assists for the Lakers (22-55). Julius Randle (18 points and 11 rebounds) and Larry Nance Jr. (12 points and 14 rebounds) both added double-doubles. Mike Conley had 20 points and 12 assists for the Grizzlies (42-35). Troy Daniels (VCU) scored 20 points.

DALLAS MAVERICKS 109 MILWAUKEE BUCKS 105

MILWAUKEE – Harrison Barnes netted 31 points to lead the Mavs (32-44). Dirk Nowtizki and J.J. Barea scored 17 apiece. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 31 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists and four steals for the Bucks (40-37).

TORONTO RAPTORS 113 PHILADELPHIA 76ers 105

TORONTO – Serge Ibaka put up 24 points and six rebounds for the Raptors (47-30). DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and nine assists. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot scored 23 points for the Sixers (28-49).

CHICAGO BULLS 117 NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 110

NEW ORLEANS – Jimmy Butler poured in 39 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists for the Bulls (38-39). Bobby Portis added 21 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Davis (30 points and 11 rebounds) and DeMarcus Cousins (26 points and 18 rebounds) both put up double-doubles for the Pelicans (33-44).

DENVER NUGGETS 116 MIAMI HEAT 113

MIAMI – Danilo Gallinari dropped 29 points for the Nuggets (36-40). Nikola Jokic added 19 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Goran Dragic had 22 points and six assists for the Heat (37-40). Hassan Whiteside scored 16 and grabbed 12 rebounds.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 139 WASHINGTON WIZARDS 115

OAKLAND – Stephen Curry went off for 42 points and handed out eight assists to lead the Warriors (63-14). Klay Thompson added 23 points. Draymond Green finished with a triple-double – 11 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists. Bradley Beal scored 20 points for the Wizards (46-31). John Wall had 15 points and 11 assists.

HOUSTON ROCKETS 123 PHOENIX SUNS 116

PHOENIX – Patrick Beverly put up 26 points, nine assists and eight rebounds for the Rockets (52-25). Eric Gordon added 22 points, six rebounds and five assists. Tyler Ulis had 34 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Suns (22-56).
