ST. LOUIS, MO– Conner Frankamp and Landry Shamet each hit a three as Wichita State opened the game on a 10-2, and the Wichita State Shockers never trailed in a victory over the Illinois State Redbirds to win the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
Frankamp led the Shockers with 19 points and three rebounds. Paris Lee topped the Redbirds with 18 points and six rebounds.
The Redbirds, a top 100 team at 87th in the country in three-point percentage (36.9 percent), struggled from beyond the arc, finishing 6-28 (21.4 percent).
The Shockers head to the NCAA tournament at 30-4 and the Redbirds await their fate at 27-6.

EVANSTON, IL– Caleb Swanigan added another double-double to his collection with 20 points and 14 rebounds for Purdue (25-6). Bryant McIntosh picked up 25 points and six assists for Northwestern (21-10).

MANSFIELD, CT– Gary Clark dropped a double-double (17 points, 14 rebounds) for Cincinnati (27-4).
No. 22 WISCONSIN 66 MINNESOTA 49
MADISON, WI– Bronson Koenig scored 17 points to lead Wisconsin (23-8) in scoring on senior day. Nate Mason‘s 17 points and four rebounds led Minnesota (23-8). The loss snaps the Golden Gophers eight game winning streak.
