SAN ANTONIO – Kawhi Leonard registered 39 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks as the Spurs (49-13) extended their winning streak to eight games.
Leonard found the ball in his hands with under 40 seconds left in the game, and the Spurs down 108-107. He pulled up from 25-feet and knocked down the three ball to put his team up two. On the next possession he pinned James Harden‘s layup to the glass.
Harden scored 39 points and handed out 12 assists, but the Rockets (44-20) lost for the first time in three games.
New York Knicks 113 Orlando Magic 105
ORLANDO – Courtney Lee scored 20 points, grabbed three rebounds and handed out two assists as the Knicks (26-38) ended a two-game skid. Evan Fournier netted a team high 25 points, but the Magic (23-41) have lost three out of their last four.
Miami Heat 106 Cleveland Cavaliers 98
CLEVELAND – Dion Waiters (29) and Goran Dragic (21) combined for 50 points as the Heat (30-34) won for the third time in four games. LeBron James recored a double-double with 30 points and 17 rebounds, but the Cavaliers (42-20) lost for the fourth time in six games. Newly acquired Andrew Bogut fractured his tibia and will be out for the rest of the season.
Milwaukee Bucks 112 Philadelphia 76ers 98
PHILADELPHIA – Giannis Antetokounmpo registered 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists as the Bucks (29-33) won their third straight. Tony Snell added 21 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Justin Anderson dropped 19 points off the bench, but the 76ers (23-40) lost their fifth out of six games.
Golden State Warriors 119 Atlanta Hawks 111
ATLANTA – Stephen Curry recorded 24 points, four rebounds and nine assists as the Warriors (52-11) won their second straight. Andre Iguodala scored 24 points off the bench. Dennis Schroder (23) and Paul Mills (20) combined for 43 points, but the Hawks (34-29) lost their third in a row.
Detroit Pistons 109 Chicago Bulls 95
DETROIT – Reggie Jackson netted 26 points and dished out six assists as the Pistons (31-32) won for the fifth time in seven games. Jimmy Butler scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds and handed out four assists, but the Bulls (31-32) dropped their second in a row.
Brooklyn Nets 122 Memphis Grizzlies 109
MEMPHIS – Sean Kilpatrick scored a team high 23 points off the bench and collected five rebounds as the Nets (11-51) ended a two-game skid. Mike Conley netted 32 points and dished out six assists as the Grizzlies (36-28) lost their third in a row.

Charlotte Hornets 100 Indiana Pacers 88
CHARLOTTE – Kemba Walker registered 28 points, six rebounds and seven assists as the Hornets (28-35) won their second in a row. Nicolas Batum added 21 points, four rebounds and four assists. Brian Roberts (Dayton) had six points and two rebounds in 13 minutes off the bench. Paul George recorded a double-double with 36 points and 10 rebounds, but the Pacers (32-31) lost their third out of their last five.
Denver Nuggets 108 Sacramento Kings 96
DENVER – Wilson Chandler dropped 36 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, handed out four assists and took away two steals, and the Nuggets (29-34) have won three out of their last four. Jameer Nelson (Saint Joseph’s) had six points, a rebound, six assists and a steal in 30 minutes played as a starter. Darren Collison scored 17 points and handed five assists as the Kings (25-38) lost their fifth in a row. Langston Galloway (Saint Joseph’s) had a rebound in five minutes played off the bench.
Utah Jazz 88 New Orleans Pelicans 83
UTAH – Gordon Hayward scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Jazz (40-24) extended their winning streak to three games. Anthony Davis (20, 12) and DeMarcus Cousins (15, 8) combined for 35 points and 20 rebounds, but the Pelicans (25-39) lost have two out of their last three.
Boston Celtics Los Angeles Clippers
LOS ANGELES – Blake Griffin (26) and Chris Paul (23) combined for 46 points as the Clippers (38-25) picked up their second win in a row. Isaiah Thomas recorded 32 points, five assists and three steals, but the Celtics (40-24) lose their second in a row.
