Ohio State uses long ball to upset No. 16 Wisconsin

OHIO STATE 83 No. 16 WISCONSIN 73

Andre Wesson, Micah Potter and C.J. Jackson each hit a three during a 9-0 run mid-way through the first half to put Ohio State up by 10 and help the Buckeyes upset the Wisconsin Badgers.

Jackson’s 18 points and Jae’Sean Tate‘s double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds) fueled the Buckeyes. Bronson Koenig scored 27 points for the Badgers.

The Buckeyes finished 10-16 (62.5 percent) from beyond the arc.

Ohio State improved to 16-13. The Badgers fell to 22-6.

No. 1 GONZAGA 96 SAN DIEGO 38

Johnathan Williams dropped 14 points and pulled down 19 rebounds for Gonzaga (29-0).

No. 4 ARIZONA 90 USC 77

Allonzo Trier netted 25 points and four rebounds for Arizona (26-3). USC (21-7) received 23 points from Bennie Boatwright and a double-double (15 points and 12 rebounds) from Chimezie Metu.

No. 5 UCLA 87 ARIZONA STATE 75

TJ Leaf led UCLA (25-3) with 25 points and nine rebounds. Torain Graham (28 points and six rebounds) and Obinna Oleka (12 points and 11 rebounds) combined to lead Arizona State (13-16).

No. 15 CINCINNATI 87 MEMPHIS 74

Kyle Washington was one of four Cincinnati (25-3) players to score in double-digits, with 16 points and six rebounds. A pair of double-doubles by Jeremiah Martin (23 points, 11 assists) and Dedric Lawson (21 points, 10 rebounds) propelled Memphis (18-10).

No. 20 SAINT MARY’S 78 PEPPERDINE 49

Jock Landale picked up 23 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double for Saint Mary’s (25-3).
