NBA Roundup: Westbrook’s 63rd triple-double, Thomas drops 34 points

OKLAHOMA CITY – Russell Westbrook paced the Thunder (31-23) past the defending champs with his 63rd career triple-double – 29 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Victor Oladipo added 23 points and seven rebounds. Steven Adams provided 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Oklahoma City outscored Cleveland 63-52 after trailing 57-55 at halftime.

Kyrie Irving put in 28 points for the Cavs (36-16). Kevin Love netted 15 points and 12 rebounds. LeBron James scored 18 points and dished out seven assists.

Westbrook and the Thunder welcome Kevin Durant back to Oklahoma City on Saturday night in a showdown against the Golden State Warriors.

DALLAS MAVERICKS 112 UTAH JAZZ 105 (OT)

DALLAS – Harrison Barnes poured in 31 points to lead the Mavs (21-32). Dirk Nowitzki added 20 points. Seth Curry and Wesley Matthews scored 16 and 15 points, respectively. Gordon Hayward dropped 36 points for the Jazz (34-20).

PORTLAND – Isaiah Thomas exploded for 34 points for the Celtics (34-19). Damian Lillard had 28 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Blazers (23-31). C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) scored 20.

ORLANDO – Dario Saric scored 24 points to go along with eight rebounds off the bench for the Sixers (19-34). Evan Fournier netted 24 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for the Magic (20-35).

HOUSTON ROCKETS 107 CHARLOTTE HORNETS 95

CHARLOTTE – James Harden led the Rockets (39-17) with 30 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Nicolas Batum had 15 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for the Hornets (24-29).
