Cleveland Cavaliers 140 Washington Wizards 135
WASHINGTON – Kevin Love (39), LeBron James (32), Kyrie Irving (23) and Tristan Thompson (22) combined for 116 points as the Cavaliers (35-15) won their fourth out of five games.
After two made free throws by John Wall, who totaled 22 points, to put the Wizards (30-21) up 120-117 the Cavaliers had only three seconds to make magic happen. Love threw the inbound pass the length of the court to find James who caught it, turned around and put up the fade away three which banked in as time expired to send it to overtime.
In overtime the Cavaliers and Wizards were tied at 133 with 35 seconds left, when Irving knocked down a 26-foot three.
Bradley Beal scored 41 points, dished out eight assists and grabbed five rebounds, but the Wizards had their seven-game winning streak snapped.
Los Angeles Lakers 121 New York Knicks 107
NEW YORK – Lou Williams scored 22 points and dished out four assists as the Lakers (18-36) ended a two game losing skid. Nick Young dropped 17 points and grabbed five rebounds. Carmelo Anthony scored a team high 26 points and handed out five assists, but the Knicks (22-31) lost for the fourth time in the last five games.
Miami Heat 115 Minnesota Timberwolves 113
MINNESOTA – Goran Dragic netted a team-high 33 points and handed out nine assists as the Heat (22-30) extended their winning streak to 10 games. Hassan Whiteside added a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns (35) and Andrew Wiggins (27) combined for 62 points, but the Timberwolves (19-33) lost their fourth in a row.
Indiana Pacers 93 Oklahoma City Thunder 90
INDIANA – Paul George netted a team-high 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds, handed out four assists and collected three steals as the Pacers (29-22) won their seventh in a row. Jeff Teague added 17 points, four rebounds and three assists. Russell Westbrook scored 27 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, but the Thunder (30-23) lost for the fourth time in six games.
Toronto Raptors 118 Los Angeles Clippers 109
TORONTO – DeMar DeRozan (31), Kyle Lowry (24) and Jonas Valanciunas (21) combined for 76 points that helped the Raptors (32-21) win their second in a row. Blake Griffin registered a triple-double with 26 points, 11 rebound and 11 assists, but the Clippers (31-21) dropped their third straight.
Utah Jazz 120 Atlanta Hawks 95
ATLANTA – Gordon Hayward (30), George Hill (22) and Derrick Favors (20) collected a combined 72 points as the Jazz (33-19) are on a three game winning streak. Dennis Schroder scored a team-high 21 points as the Hawks (30-22) ended their two game winning skid. Mike Muscala (Bucknell) had two points, three assists, a rebound and a steal in 21 minutes played off the bench. DeAndre Bembry (Saint Joseph’s) scored six points in 18 minutes played off the bench.
Detroit Pistons 113 Philadelphia 76ers 96
DETROIT – Andre Drummond collected a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds as the Pistons picked up their 23rd win of the season. Marcus Morris scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jahlil Okafor dropped 16 points and grabbed four rebounds, but the 76ers (18-33) are on a four-game losing streak.
New Orleans Pelicans 111 Phoenix Suns 106
NEW ORLEANS – Anthony Davis dropped 34 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked five shots as the Pelicans (20-32) snapped a four-game losing streak. Jrue Holiday added 30 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Langston Galloway (Saint Joseph’s) had two points, a rebound and an assist in seven minutes off the bench. TJ Warren scored 20 points, but the Suns (16-36) lost their last seventh out of eight games.

DENVER – Will Barton netted a team-high 31 points, collected eight rebounds and dished out five assists as the Nuggets (23-28) won their fifth out of their last eight. Jameer Nelson (Saint Joseph’s) had two points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 33 minutes played. Wilson Chandler added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Memphis Grizzlies 89 San Antonio Spurs 74
MEMPHIS – Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph scored 15 points a piece to help the Grizzlies (32-22) win for the fifth time in six games. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 13 points and collected 10 rebounds, but the Spurs (39-12) lost for the first time in three games.

SACRAMENTO – Dwyane Wade dropped 31 points to help the Bulls (26-26) win their third game out of the last four. Wade added six rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Michael Carter-Williams scored 21 points and dished six assists. Ty Lawson netted 22 points, handed out seven assists and collected four rebounds off the bench, but the Kings (20-32) lost their third game out of the last four.
