DENVER – Vince Carter became the fifth player in NBA history to reach 2,000 3-point field goals last night in the Grizzlies (30-21) victory. The 40-year-old veteran made good on all three attempts from behind the arc, and finished with 14 points, six assists and five rebounds off the bench.
Marc Gasol scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed five rebounds. Mike Conley added 18 points and five assists. Zach Randolph came off the bench to drop 14 points.
Danilo Gallinari, Darrell Arthur and Emmanuel Mudiay all had 14 points apiece for the Nuggets (21-27). Mudiay also handed out seven assists and secured six rebounds. Kenneth Faried earned a double-double – 11 points and 11 rebounds.
NEW YORK KNICKS 95 BROOKLYN NETS 90
BROOKLYN – Kristaps Porzingis (12), Willy Hernangomez (8) and Sasha Vujacic (6) combined for 26 of 31 fourth quarter points to help the Knicks (22-29) rally to defeat their crosstown rivals. Porzingis finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Hernangomez netted 16 points and 16 rebounds. Vujacic, who made team history with two four-point conversions, added 12 points against his former team. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Nets (9-40).
INDIANA PACERS 98 ORLANDO MAGIC 88
ORLANDO – C.J. Miles led the Pacers (26-22) with 16 points. Jeff Teague added 13 points and nine assists. Serge Ibaka had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Magic (19-32). Nikola Vucevic contributed with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 125 MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 97
CLEVELAND – LeBron James carried the Cavs (33-15) with 27 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. Kyle Korver provided a spark off the bench with 20 points. Channing Frye and Tristan Thompson scored 18 apiece. Thompson also hauled in 14 rebounds. Kyrie Irving dropped 14 points and dished out 14 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolves (19-30). Andrew Wiggins added 23 points against the team that drafted him first overall in 2014. Ricky Rubio chipped in 14 points and 13 assists.

BOSTON – Isaiah Thomas exploded for 44 points and seven assists to lead the Celtics (31-18). Kyle Lowry put in 32 points and five assists for the Raptors (30-20).

OAKLAND – Stephen Curry went off for 39 points and eight assists on 11-of-15 shooting from behind the arc for the Warriors (42-7). Klay Thompson added 29 points and eight assists of his own. Kevin Durant had 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Frank Kaminsky III netted 24 points and seven assists for the Hornets (23-27).

MIAMI – Goran Dragic mustered 27 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Heat (20-30) to their ninth straight victory. Hassan Whiteside added 18 points and 18 rebounds. Dion Waiters, who was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week, had 20 points and seven rebounds. Kent Bazemore scored 14 points for the Hawks (28-21).

AUBURN HILLS – Kentavious Caldwell-Pope put in a career-best 38 points on 12-of-18 shooting to lead the Pistons (22-27). Anthony Davis compiled 31 points and 12 rebounds for the Pelicans (19-31). Jrue Holiday scored 22 points and handed out 11 assists.

DALLAS – Seth Curry paced the Mavs (19-30) with 22 points, six assists and four steals. Salah Mejri contributed 16 points and 17 rebounds. Jahlil Okafor scored 16 points for the Sixers (18-30). Ersan Ilyasova had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
UTAH JAZZ 104 MILWAUKEE BUCKS 88
SALT LAKE CITY – Gordon Hayward led the Jazz (31-19) with 27 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals. Rudy Gobert added 26 points and 15 rebounds. Joe Johnson netted 14 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench. Jabari Parker had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Bucks (21-27).

PHOENIX – Blake Griffin collected 29 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Clippers (31-18). Former Clipper Eric Bledsoe went off for 41 points and eight assists for the Suns (15-34).

OKLAHOMA CITY – Jimmy Butler dropped 28 points to go along with five assists, four rebounds and three steals for the Bulls (25-25). Dwyane Wade added 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Russell Westbrook came away with 28 points and eight assists for the Thunder (28-22).
