Donte DiVincenzo tipped in a missed layup from Josh Hart with less than one second left to give the Villanova Wildcats the win over the Virginia Cavaliers and remain undefeated at The Pavilion. Villanova erased a 12-point second-half deficit.
Mikal Bridges led the Wildcats with 15 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Ty Jerome scored 15 points off the UVA bench including a basket with :17 remaining to tie the game.
Despite allowing the Cavaliers to shoot 50 percent (25-50) from the field, the Wildcats, who are ranked 68th in the country in field goal percentage defense (41.2 percent per game), were able to secure the victory.
The Wildcats improve to 20-2 and the Cavaliers drop to 16-4.

Arizona’s (20-2) Kadeem Allen netted 14 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out five assists. Markelle Fultz scored 16 points and pulled in nine rebounds for Washington (9-12).

Donovan Mitchell topped Louisville (18-4) with 28 points, eight rebounds and five steals.
No. 19 CINCINNATI 94 SOUTH FLORIDA 53
Jarron Cumberland‘s 26 points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists off the bench led Cincinnati (19-2). South Florida (6-14) has now lost nine straight games, all in conference play.

Jack McVeigh had 21 points and three rebounds off the bench for Nebraska (10-11). Dakota Mathias gave Purdue (17-5) 19 points, and Caleb Swanigan picked up a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Trevon Bluiett‘s double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) propelled Xavier (15-6). Shamorie Ponds fueled St. John’s (10-13) with 23 points and three rebounds.
