CHARLOTTE – Kevin Durant scored 33 points to go along with five rebounds and four blocks to lead the Warriors (39-7). Durant dropped 16 of his 33 in the fourth, including two free-throws with 5:25 left to give the Dubs the lead the rest of the way.
Stephen Curry, who grew up in Charlotte, added 28 points including 6-of-12 from behind the arc and six assists. The two-time MVP enjoyed his homecoming as he had his high school jersey retired at Charlotte Christian during the trip. On Tuesday night, Davidson College, where Curry played prior to his professional career, held a ceremony to name “Section 30” at Belk Arena in his honor.
Kemba Walker had 26 points and eight assists for the Hornets (23-23). Nicolas Batum chipped in with 16 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Spencer Hawes earned a double-double – 10 points and 13 rebounds.

BROOKLYN – Dion Waiters scored 14 points in the fourth to help the Heat (16-30) erase an 18-point deficit en route to a season-high fifth straight victory. The former Syracuse guard finished with 24 points. Wayne Ellington dropped 22 points off the bench against his former team. Goran Dragic added 17 points and nine assists. Brook Lopez led the Nets (9-36) with 33 points including a career-high seven 3-pointers.

CLEVELAND – Arron Afflalo sank the game-winning three with 17.3 seconds left in overtime to push the Kings (18-27) past the defending champs. Afflalo finished with 14 points. DeMarcus Cousins netted 28 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and three steals. LeBron James earned a triple-double – 24 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists for the Cavs (30-14), who have dropped six of their last eight. Kevin Love compiled 21 points and 16 rebounds. Kyrie Irving added 20 points and six assists.

BOSTON – Isaiah Thomas poured in 38 points and dished out nine assists to lead the Celtics (27-18). This was Thomas’ 15th 30-point game of the season, and his 29th consecutive outing of at least 20 points. Jae Crowder added 23 points and 10 rebounds. Al Horford finished with 20 points and nine assists. James Harden had 30 points, 12 assists and six rebounds for the Rockets (34-15).

CHICAGO – Dennis Schroder paced the Hawks (27-19) with 24 points and nine assists. Dwight Howard contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four other Atlanta players finished in double-figures. Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade went off for 40 and 33 points, respectively, for the Bulls (23-24).

MILWAUKEE – Gerald Henderson dropped 20 points off the bench to help the Sixers (17-27) win five of their last six. Ersan Ilyasova and Dario Saric added 17 points apiece. Nerlens Noel finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Greg Monroe had a season-high 28 points for the Bucks (21-24).

MEMPHIS – Marc Gasol exploded for a career-high 42 points to go along with seven rebounds for the Grizzlies (27-20). Tony Allen chipped in with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Randolph added 16 points and eight rebounds. Kyle Lowry dropped 29 points and handed out eight assists against his former team for the Raptors (28-18).

NEW ORLEANS – Russell Westbrook registered his 60th career triple-double and passed Larry Bird for fifth on the all-time triple-doubles list with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for the Thunder (27-19). Steven Adams added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jrue Holiday had 14 points and eight assists for the Pelicans (18-28).
DALLAS MAVERICKS 103 NEW YORK KNICKS 95
DALLAS – Harrison Barnes and Seth Curry paced the Mavs (16-29) with 23 and 20 points, respectively. Dirk Nowitzki added 19 points. Carmelo Anthony dropped a game-high 30 points to go along with eight rebounds for the Knicks (20-27).

PORTLAND – Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) dropped 24 points apiece to lead the Blazers (20-27) to their 11th straight defeat of the Lakers (16-33). Mason Plumlee added 19 points and 13 rebounds. Lou Williams scored 31 points, dished out five assists, grabbed four rebounds and swiped three steals off the bench for Los Angeles.
